Her death: I accepted seeing in 4k. Not immediately, but eventually. Her saying “Goodbye” as the final cut scene: it just felt so much more empty when the credits played……then BAM! This theme at the end of the credits roll. 😮‍💨

This broke my heart when it played at the end credits. I really thought things would have been different, for a split second I thought I saved her. I spent ten years from the day this remake was announced telling myself that I'll need to be ready for this again. Went through all of of remake and rebirth telling myself "sure things are different but that won't change. It won't change." Then during the final chapter, for that split second I got my hopes up and I was immediately heart broken again, twenty five years later. Sorry I'm rambling, in a youtube comment section no freakin less, this just means a lot to me and I've had a rough week, thanks

I know how you feel, I played FF7 back in 97 and Aerith's death stuck with me throughout all FF games hoping no one would die (Tidus). But it's just shows you how special FF7 is compared to FF games. I thought for sure they would change it, but I'm glad they didn't. Have a awesome day Ranger.

Few things make me feel in awe and one of them is FF 7. The whole experience was so beautiful although I got my heart broken in the Forgotten Capital. I loved it all so much. When this specifically played in the credits. I had no words for how beautiful it is. It was also very heartbreaking. This song is too beautiful.

Something about the theme is too… grand? Or Hollywood esc. It’s beautiful but there was something indescribably great about the original and its distinct lack of grandiosity in how it depicts death. No parting words, just sudden, swift, brutal, unforgiving, and unfair. This one is grand, drags on, parties are allowed to say their goodbyes. Rebirth’s ending was a lot of fun and I enjoyed the game absolutely, but It this scene missed something that’s hard to describe.
