Not just that but his Spatial Rend attack on a staggered enemy does massive damage and is by far the most devastating single use physical attack in the game. This is what makes Gilgamesh OP and his summon materia worth it. You see when an enemy is staggered, that attack does increased damage. It usually does upwards of 13-14K damage as he does damage when he lands and then when earth spikes come out of the ground. Its so op

You have to clear every regions Protorelic Missions, and find the superboss at the Meridian Ocean, and beat him. It's considered this games superboss so good hunting! After beating him you can fight him for the summon in chadley's VR simulator.

​@@Demosnam You dont actually have to beat him in the combat simulator. As soon as you beat him in the finale of the questline, Chadley gives you the materia straight away

Too bad you cannot control summons. Would be so much better playing with Gilgamesh. Besides I don't why it's called Ultimate Illusion in english. Isn't it Final Fantasy?

It would probably have barebones controls like FF16 if they had you control summons. Imo, FF7 Remake/Rebirth has the best use of summons outside FF10 cos you can still give them commands and they act as a temporary party member with a final attack at the end. Pretty much every other FF game outside 10 and 7R just have them as glorified spells

@@yannispirou101 have you played Rebirth. Cos in Rebirth you can level up the summons and a lot of them are very useful. For example, Phoenix can raise fallen party members and his ultimate attack “Rebirth flame” not only does decent fire damage to enemies but also heals the entire party. Titan’s two ATB bar attack “Boulder hurl” always pressures all enemies on the battlefield so you can stagger them fast. And let’s not even talk about Odin’s Zantetsuken with its high damage and Bahamut Arisen’s crowd control. Look mate, all your criticisms are valid but only for Remake. Rebirth actually improved the summons a lot. Play it for yourself and see
