There is a HUGE reason why people talk about vincent. He is in the original an Optional character and his story is Extremely important. I wont spoil, but it is good to know vincent is very important to WHY things are happening

It's amazing how you able ot keep yourself not spoiled considering there are a lot of OG FF7 spoiler in the internet. Also since you asked, yes we get a car at some point in the OG and the guy who comes out from the coffin is indeed vincent.

That red off-road vehicle is called Buggy and yes, it was in the OG. And no, there weren't any Segways :) Segways weren't a thing back in 1997. Final Fantasy ain't The Simpsons in its predictions :)

After finishing Remake myself, I got the BEAR MINIMUM context for things that happen in the original FF7 and I can tell you I had the same reaction when I saw that we were on the same team as Sephiroth for some reason at some point, somewhere in the story! xD Despite me looking for that greater context, I still am mostly blind to everything that comes up after the gang leaves Midgar and I am JUST AS SUPER EXCITED as you and everyone else as well!! AAAA!! Release cant come soon enough......

Your video just showed up in my recomendations and I really want to thank you for sharing it with everyone! =D This was so much fun to watch and to see someone who is still so new to the insane world that is FF7 enjoy this trailer to that extent! I've loved this game with all of it's characters since it was originally released and got my hands on every additional piece of media that expanded it's lore that I could get (and read summaries for those I could not get) and there's something so incredibly wholesome to me about the fact that both you and I went into this trailer with vastly different backgrounds in terms of knowledge and yet both enjoyed this immensely. It tells me that FF7R and all of the characters in this version of the story is not just something that can be loved by those who loved what came before but can also stand on it's own and bring new people into the world just as much and set them on their own paths of discovering this world. =D I hope you well enjoy it and this game when it releases as well! (Oh, and welcome to the "Is Vincent a vampire?" club. XD I swear, nine out of ten people say that when they see him for the first time. Glad to see that hasn't changed in the new version! XD In the meantime I'll quietly add myself to the list of people who can't WAIT to see him in action in this. Or just see him in general. xD)

The part at the end of the trailer that looks like part 1 is likely a fully cgi recap of the end, it has been stated that there will be a recap of part one for people who haven’t played remake and are starting with rebirth. Because it’s cgi, and not in game rendered, it looks a little different than you might remember it

JC please be sure to play crisis core reunion before playing this, it will help understand Zack a lot more bc that it his game and his story and it’s something that definitely needs to be played before rebirth. I absolutely love Crisis Core and played the og on the psp and really glad they brought it to ps5. If you need another opinion, you can ask Edge too bc we both played and talked about it and I know it’s sometimes that both of us would like you to play. But yes please let me know if that’s something you plan on doing. Would love to see!

Love your reaction man. FF7 is so dear to me, it warms my heart seeing both new and old fans going crazy over this. That being said. If you haven't played the original I would consider not doing so until this story is finished. New fans have another perspective that older fans just don't, so you can just enjoy the ride without comparing everything that's happening. And then you can play the original later and see where it all began and what the original story was like. Or y'know, go ahead. I don't think it matters all that much. If you wanna dive headfirst into the FF7 compilation then go for it 😄

Do not play the original yet. Wait for this. The first hours of this game will blow your mind and by the delivery of Sephiroth's lines, I can tell it will be even more impactful than in the original. And pretty much everything here was in the original (except for the Segway); OG gave the illusion of being an open world by using gigantic areas that guide you through the story within huge geographical boundaries.

As a comparison, you just left midgard like froto just left the shire in lord of the ring. After leaving midgard you are open the the whole world. You will need to make new friends and get new rides to traverse the world. You will get more lore of each character and their homeland. Truely one of the best ff game.

If you wanna understand Zack play Crisis Core or Crisis Core Reunion not the OG7 Some things from OG7 might get spoiled there but there are so many new things in Remake/Rebirth that you will still get a sense of mystery and revelations no matter in what order you play any VII game now edit on the Minigames VII-Rebirth might be the FF that has the most even more than OG7 since there almost everything there was in OG7 plus the posibility of Fort Condor returning edit 2 Vincent is hard to explain without Spoiling edit 3 yes the cars were there alongside a lot of crazy rides lol

PLAY THE ORIGINAL. Please, play the original. It will make so much sense if you do. You are missing out on the biggest and most fascinating opportunity that's been over 20 years in the making. It's like you're getting two time lines and you get to see how one played out, and one being forged in front of your very eyes. I can't explain how cool it is, and you need to play the original to understand. You owe it to yourself. PLAY THE ORIGINAL, I can't stress this enough. Download mods to make it more visually appealing if you feel that the outdated graphics are too tough, just do something but PLAY IT. Just PLAY IT!
