More details got revealed in the newest article on PlayStation blog and other interviews: - 100 hours of gameplay. - The climax of this game will include The Forgotten Capital, but no Wutai until part 3. - You will "control sephiroth in the same part as the original game". - Not all party members will be playable until part 3 (like Cid and Vincent), but those that you can not control will be companion characters like Red XIII was in part 1. (This problaly hints that Cid will be a guest character like Red was in Remake). - No save data transfer, but you get Leviathan for Remake and Ramuh for Intermission episode save data. - No Wutai until game 3, but there seems to be Wutai outposts of resistance / immigrants. - Huge areas for exploring.

YEAAAAAAAH BOY!!! Looks like Square-Enix is STILL really putting in the work on FF7 Rebirth here and we also finally got an official release date which is February! Though I was hoping for sooner like in January. Also I was thrilled to see Caith Sith's moogle suit The Gold Saucer and Vincent but still no Cid Highwind yet. Also I think that thing with Zack really IS an alternate timeline which I think might be the next intermission story DLC in this one.

To think they still have another game beyond this, when it's all said and done this will be the greatest game ever, no question. I don't love the combat personally, it's weirdly awkward, but the rest of the game is just so well done.

That's not Glenn, I think the guy in the Black Robe is Cid, obviously.

If it's Cid, it would be a pretty radical departure on his design. Remake and this have been pretty consistent with keeping characters looking similar to their old looks and the robed figure looks nothing at all like 7 Cid ever has.

@@derangel9143 obviously he is hiding from being seen, why would he still make his figure under the robe looks the same, that defeats the purpse of hiding from being seen. He could be stalking Rufus with what happened at rocket town. Plus, the trailer showed the game up to Weapons arise, so Cid will be in the game. Its not Glenn for sure, lmao.

Okay, I've just played Ever Crisis, and yes he looks like Glenn from the opening scene of him and Sephiroth.

It's so weird to me that you could possibly not like Crisis Core, or even Zack whom not only is Aerith's true love but also an sweet angel. It's a literal integral part to the story and not only is it canon to the compilation but it looks like you really didn't even understand a lot of the story of Final Fantasy. It seems like you're more of a basic fan that has played and read what there is to play and read but hasn't really delved into it to learn the true story behind a lot of things. You called Zack a guy Aerith knew for five minutes but in reality they knew one another a lot longer than that. Also, their relationship was a lot more in-depth. She literally is wearing pink because of him and waiting for him to return. Let's not mention all the other amazing stuff about both characters and their relationship. She literally only knew Cloud for two weeks before she died and SE themselves said her and Zack are side by side in the Lifestream. So, let's stick to the actual facts of the story and not just make up stuff. Saying Zack isn't important is actually cringe worthy.
