Try Gotterdammerung + Barrot limitbreak on place with many mobs; it seems every kill fills his limit. On Ch 16 parking lot you have back to back limit break.

Square needs to release some kind of Bloody Palace mode for this game. The combat is so varied and flexible, it’s just fun to play. Even after the platinum trophy, I wanna go back on just to fight 😭

Exactly my thought. Been saying that since I played C9, the Corneo arena while still on normal. While the game is 'just' good to very good, the battle system is amazing, at least on par with DMC combat. This is the very first game I hunted after platinum and got it, only to fall into a black hole, now what? Today I made seperate savegames before, hellhouse, jehovah dreamweaver, rufus and arsenal. (Hard ofcourse, and I forgot that flying thing just before you enter shinra building, have to make a save game there too) Bloody palace DLC is what this game needs! And please Square Enix... make it damn hard!

I'm not sure if this has been covered yet, but Aerith + gotterdammerung + planet's protection spam is actually broken. Immune to all physical attacks. Made ch 18 hard mode feel like super easy mode.

well planet protection was made the way. it was to give the player an advantage and to give you a reason too want the level 2 limit break in my opinion. also planets protection while rely cool still wears off after a wile at lest i was not able to defeat all the bosess before planets protection wore off.

For players having a hard time in Combat Simulator or against bosses where the fight is dragging on. Use Arcane ward + Elemental spells + MP Absorb. That little bit of MP recovery goes a long way.

A magic build for Cloud is HP Absorb + Enemy Skill and Elemental + Fire (or whatever the weakness of enemy) in your weapon and then use Spirit Siphon. This enemy skill will take the element of your weapon and apply it to the damage. Use x2 Magic Up's and a Mythril Saber to increase dmg and First Strike + Whisperwind Scarf to be able to use at beginning of battle. Obviously not the most crazy thing ever, but I love switching up the playstyle in this game. I'm just pumped to see how much more we can do in Part II of this remake.

I killed the Hell House on hard with this method SO EASILY. Tarot cards on cloud with Stop, haste with enchanted ring and Magnify on Aerith. I set up ATB Ward next to house, staggered, use stop, go absolutely ape shit and win

The accessories have much better rates than the weapon buffs. I personally always found the weapon buffs to be useless since they were so small. With the accessories though, these numbers become much more beneficial and usable.

Only found your channel since been playing FF7R and really loving and enjoying the content as its even making my understanding and play ability of the game even better. Really enjoying these builds guide and understanding and just so flexible awesome the crazy things you can do with a build of Materia. The choice of weapon use can surely have an effect on the build as well with some weapons having buffs and debuffs. Hopefully a video as well that can cover the future updates to the game of FF7R itself also. Keep doing your thing man.

I forgot thename of theitem but you get it by reaching 30k points in the whack-a-box minigame (hard). It fills your limit gauge when you use ATB. So if you don't have the Götterdämmerung yet this is the item to go

Another great video! One thing though: you're still wasting ATB bars to get to chi+3 during the stagger window instead of getting to chi+3 before the stagger and using the ATB for True Strike. You'll come around eventually...

Can you double link a materia to MP absorption to gain more MP back? For example, have "Fire""MP Absorption" and another "Fire""MP Absorption"?

To my knowledge there's only 1 mp absorb throughout the whole game. Same with magnify and auto-cure.

Fury rings were my default accessory during hard mode. The damage difference is pretty ridiculous 😎

i never used them because like ALL games in the universe FF being part of them. berserk make you lose control of characters, but here is just a bonus that make you receive a little more damage lol.

Nope. It’s the same. Having fury ring on and activating his berserk doesn’t seem to give a second buff.

Ok great, these are things i didn't know, so nice video. Where i see the problem is.. There is no boss which is strong enough for you to need to have these kind of bonuses. When you start the game, its incredibly hard to the point of frustration. But once you learn how to play switch char etc, it become kinda easy, so these things are not very useful sadly :/

In the materia's description, it says that only the first one works if two are combined (on the same character I wager). I am not sure if this involves the same item too (to imbue both the weapon and armour on the same character).

@@Tyrannimarja you can have 2 elemental just not 2 on weapon or 2 on armor. You can have 1 and 1 on the same char no problem.

it's a debuff! debuffs are red on your status bar and buffs are blue

this game has no end game content at all. which was one of the reason i was very disappointed about this remake. not even minigames you can do to waste times or to rank against players online, nothing.

@@kieragard hell yeah, reset everyone's weapons, use the weakest one, throw on a bronze bangle, wear the moogle amulet for 0 buffs and never switch to anyone else. There's a real challenge.

the game is completly unbalanced. You can finish the game on hard mode without any of this items and materia combos.

the problem is that... you start on a game that is frustratingly hard until you get used to fight. then it become way too easy , even without the use of items.
