John Doe Well there were so many signs that pointed to it being AFTER Advent Childen; the sign about Edge and then that park that had the slide, but wasnt the moogle one, the 2 boys there with Advent Children buster swords, but once I saw that train going around that giant building right as he said "the reunion," I knew it, but that 1% held me back, even after seeing Cloud and Barrett until that one word showed up, and I absolutely lost it lol

I love it when people freak out right when they see the playground slide - but everyone always tries to control their emotions because the scars from the cruel and unusual trolling are still fresh! Lol, your reaction is so funny and great. I love Xngear's reaction too. Watch his video, he filmed the reaction at a theatre. And had the biggest freak out ever along with the entire audience - it's so funny and awesome :)

Can't believe it took 5 years from the first trailer announcement to have the game finally released! And it's just the 1st part! Seeing this make me believe that part 2 will be released in 2025, part 3 will be released in 2030, part 4 in 2035, part 5 in 2040, etc. Hopefully I'm still alive to see how it ends, lol.

Oh heck yes I played it! I got it on release and played the crap out of it! It was WAY more than I thought it was gonna be and it absolutely blew my mind. Its easily in my top 3 games of all times because nostalgia aside, the games is absolutely amazing in so many ways. Sadly.....I completely failed to record my first playthrough of it which I did stream, and I regret not doing so.

To all the 30 yr old fans like myself. Lets hope this is a true REMAKE of the original FF7 game that came out in 1997. None of that new compilation bs added either. Lets see if those last few old Squaresoft employees can do this remake story without adding or taking away what they originally had in mind from the start. 1997 FF7 STORY NOTHING MORE SQUEENIX.

Omega666Evil I dont mind them polishing up the story so its not as confusing, but not deviate too far from the original. The battle system on the other hand i just want to be completely different, cuz having it turn based at this point is just far too outdated

Omega666Evil The game won't be the same with just updated graphics. It just... won't. If you're expecting that, you'll be disappointed in the remake. Tetsuya Nomura told gamespot that they already announced an HD port of the game for PS4. They don't want the remake to be exactly just like the HD port, just even prettier, that doesn't make sense. Overall story will probably be the same, few changes here and there, but I expect the battle system and overall gameplay to be completely different. I adore FF7 just as much as everyone else here, but I think it's a good thing. Some things in the original game is just... outdated. Let's hope they get those changes right instead of hoping that the game will be the same with better graphics :) That just won't happen.

Lychee Man If you listen to the narrator, you can tell hes essentially retelling the story of what happened, however after it shows the kids and the slide, it is then showing what was going on during VII

Sylvia Lopez I'm actually glad they didn't. I'm glad they skipped the PS2 and PS3 era. The PS4 era is prime but then again, if FF15 is any yardstick to go by, we'll playing this 2 years into the life of the PS5.
