Took me 55 hours to finish main story and 33 hours to after that to complete the rest of the trophies, in total I played 88 hours to get the platinum trophy, and I enjoyed everything about it, that’s why I love this game

@@forestthomer3259 Good tip is to turn down both music and voices volume in the settings. All you’ll hear is the button prompts without the distracting music or voices blaring out. My average went from the twenties to the thirties by doing that. Finally beat him with 45 pull-ups by making those changes 5 minutes later.

Best Materia combo I found is Enemy Skill linked with max hp absorb have it equiped on weapon, then apply fire or blizzard for example with elemental on the weapon as well.. it will change all the spells on enemy skill to that element. Add another spell element of the same type with mp absorb now you drain mp and hp.. cast regen on and your a healing machine.

You would need to pair enemy skill materia with mp absorb and then you can put a 🔥 or whatever element you like with elemental on the wpn to change enemy skills element type. You just wont be able to absorb hp since we have have 2 materia links at this time.

For the hard mode, it is possible to use "PRAY" materia, to save MP and heal all party members, this only works during battle, but it is possible when finishing the last enemy, if you use it on the last seconds it will be used even after battle finish ;)

Agreed, I am open to the new timeline and changes could be cool! But I am concerned that everyone is surviving so far. Might sound harsh, but I loved the original for being so upfront with the theme of death. It looks like Biggs, Wedge and Jessie are all somehow alive now, as well as possibly Zack. I really hope this doesn't become an "Aerith saved everyone with the power of love" type game. Not to mention getting into insane plot lines all over the place.

The downside to the FFVII "hard mode".. is it's pointless. I had every single character at Lv50, All elemental and useful materia completely maxed out, and all side quests finished. The only thing I have left is the Manuscripts, 1 music disc, and the arena battles to do. That's pretty much it really, which isn't a lot to do imo.

Gooseland RR Kinda tight about this shit being in parts - great game overall but the story is drawn out af compared to the original - i havnt finished it yet (17hours) but im assuming it would start off with a flashback of Sephiroth, Cloud and Zack on that mission where shit hit the fan - Hometown got burned and they got captured by Mojo Hojo

Yea they are basically making it like the original with 3 discs but the thing is the original came with the 3 discs they just made the remake super slow and full of filler content to extend the time to 30+ hours before getting out of Midgard hopefully they end it with 2 games

It really is not Great End Game content, by any means of the word. Replay the whole game on Hard, just to get all Weapon Points (showing a big middle finger to everyone who want's to play in Classic Mode). Play the unfun Minigames that you may have missed. Look at all these Super Bosses you can only fight on Hard Mode, with no option for playing like in Classic Mode Yet again. They basically "force" you to play trough the game again, to get things you should have gotten on any Difficulty. Locking Content behind Difficulty is something I was never a fan of.

After you beat the game on hard or platinum it. There is nothing post game really. Idk why I'd ever redownload this. It's part 1 of 3 walking simulators about a game called ff7. Square removed most ff gameplay and put in filler. If part 2 is like this it will hurt. A week since drop no ally ai improvement? Mine just stand around. Ally spells blocked by environment but enemies spells dont always fun. Forced to beat the game before grinding....and rpg with chapter select????????? What role did I play if I can just go back? We need more fighting in the world no vr and arena battles giving us our fix. Literally 9 hours of movies and 12 of walking aerith around. If this gets any awards it shows how deluded we are. Only award this should get is movie of the year.

@@vincenthammons-kd9du I put over 300+ hours into ff7. You can replay it many ways. Use different characters. Fight battle at any time. In the remake you can't do any of that till you beat it. Also ff7 was a complete game. The remake will be a 3 part series.....took 1 game and turned it into 3 60-80 dollar games and the only difference is aerith will live. When did Disney buy square??
