Final Fantasy 7 / VII - Lifestream on Acoustic Guitar (Ambient Cover)

Here's an extremely spontaneous upload. Yesterday evening I was playing around with various effects, and while doing this tune suddenly emerged from the depths of memory.. This is the first guitar recording I've uploaded here using any kind of effects, and is also the first one recorded without microphones! I hope you enjoy this slightly improvised arrangement of this great track.

So cool! Last week I was in Netherlands, for a business trip so I haven't had much time to follow the news on KZbin and I missed 2 videos from you. Man, I think this might be a great idea for you to create sort of ambient guitar game music. Quite often KZbin guitarists are enjoyable to listen when also watching them play, but the music without the video is not really hooking me for longer. This rendition I could just listen to with closed eyes and relax, or play some RPG with this in the background. Really inspiring thanks! PS: I also love the perfect black background and the sunny lights. Great!

I have a similar experience with listening to/watching guitar music, there's always this visual element that feels like a necessary part of the experience. With that in mind I find the fact that you can listen to this in the background an awesome compliment! This cover was done pretty quickly but I do feel that with more work I could create a really cool listening experience, and like you say this 'ambient guitar' approach would be a great thing to keep coming back to! Haha, alive and well! I injured my neck recently which got in the way of things, but since I recovered I've been doing a lot of work on the E.O.S album; an album which I need to finish recording by the end of this month. I have two new guitar arrangements for the channel that will be released this month or next, and I'm also practicing a third which due to the difficulty won't be released for a little while!
