Something for those struggling with the CC one, as I sure did. You do not get deducted points for tilting to the wrong key, you only get deducted if you fck up on the key itself. Point being, as I did, I just stared at the right side and whenever I saw one on the left, I just spammed the tilt and it landed 50% of the time. So you get a perfect on the right and about a 50% on the other which is an A rank. I tried it out of anger and got the A rank the first try. Perhaps it will work for someone else too.

This is spot on what I did to get three of them (thus far) Aerith, Tifa and On Our Way, it seems like stick position is pretty generous, providing that you keep that left dial in your peripheral and flick the thumbstick in the general direction near the time it seems to count, the mistake it seems is trying to be too accurate, also I found it useful to listen to the track a few times first that way you can get a feel for oh year this a fast section etc.

the difficulty spike from cinco de chocobo to two legs nothin to it is INSANE lol it took me one or two tries to S rank the first 4 songs but number 5 is stupid hard

Leaving my tip which worked surprisingly well for me, Playing the song at full note speed unironically made it easier for me to get higher scores because it leaves less chance to hit "good" notes as by the time you hit the notes at this speed they become "great" without you having to properly time it unlike with slow note speed. This is what worked for me so hopefully someone might find it useful

If anyone with friends wants to cheese this just hold the controller and have each person do 1 stick. Eventually went back and did it solo but it was nice to get it out of the way . (Haven't gotten to aerith's theme but got two legs, first try this way).

Song 5, two tips from comments that helped me: 1) I turn up song speed by one 2) focus ONLY on the right side and use side vision for left part (believe me, trying to change focus between both makes it a LOT harder)

Took me 8 tries to get my first A rank on our way lol….. this is going to be tough for me but I was surprised how I actually got better each time. My first attempt was so bad 😂

It’s literally the life of a musician. We do BAD on our first run of our music (most of us at least, maybe not the true professionals). Through diligent practice, constantly working through our pieces, we learn to perform something truly spectacular. My only gripe with the game’s approach is that there’s no dedicated piece practice mode. Would have made performance WAAAAY more enticing and much easier to improve (if you can play it slow, you can play it fast, it’s true).

Tifa and aerith themes I'm good at especially because I've been hearing it since I was a kid age three Honestly practice does help on these. But turning off the music does too. Especially for musicians. It's another slog for platinum. Dont do it if you dont want to. Pursue another thing. As with any minigame just take a break and play another one or do more story. Always can come back.

Nope. I hate them as well. There shouldn't be rhythm minigame based trophies in a RPG. They definitely shouldn't require a 80-90% perfect rate to get them. If I wanted to play guitar hero, I would have gotten that game instead of this.

I still have PTSD from doing the Kingdom Hearts minigames for the plats. Can't believe they went so insane with the minigames in this one and then to top it off required S-ranks on all but piano for plat. Just WTF man.

Tip for those having problem i got star rating on 1 go on all the songs but the 2nd last one is horrible. that is by far the hardest for some reason took me like 5 attempts to get Tips 1. watch the right side only and u can see left side with the corner of your eye easier to do it that way. 2. also big tip if u know what direction to press n both side just match the right side to the left input. as most of them are at the same beat so pressing the right input u should also press left input to that.

Turning on performance mode helped a tiny bit strangely enough. If you haven’t tried that already give it maybe it will help a tiny bit

FYI everyone--for some reason Cinco de Chocobo bugs out on the lowest speed setting. I bumped it up one notch to the second lowest speed setting and got 136 great, 1 bad and 8 missed for an A rank. Before that I was missing like 20 notes and could only get a B rank.

Id have preferred button inputs cinco de Chocobo is testing me and not for what you think all other songs played out fine this one has decided it no longer wants to register inputs so i lose because it only wants to register half the notes. This is not a Platinum for me i guess i am all out of patience with this one

I swear theres just a lag, even if I hold down the stick the entire time the yellow lines are on screen for those notes the game says I never hit the button at all

Is there a trick to the joystick. I push it in the direction, but sometimes end up hitting a different direction. Is it really that sensitive, or am i not understanding something about this mini game?? Having the joysticks be what presses the keys doesn't seem like a smart gameplay choice. I hate this mini game. Wish I could connect a piano to the game and just play it that way. It would be much easier at this point.

Yes he does. His theme not being obvious is deliberate as it ties to his lack of identity. But in advent children, Cloud’s theme turns out to be the same song that plays when you first leave Kalm for the grasslands. Though personally, I prefer to think of the Bombing Mission theme as his theme song.

The piano isnt all that hard , at least not for me , but then again Games like kingdom come deliverance has taught me that practice makes perfect , set the song to like tge second lowest tempo and then try it Or get it to a speed thats comfortable for you and practice away , its fun honestky
