On the point of remaking games, I pray for a FF8 remake and I don't care what they change, I just personally hope it still has it's unique spark that the original has with the writing, and obviously I have no worries that the music would absolutely still slap.

The true dislike of the game stems from it not being FF7-2. After that the haters found reasons- junction system being tough, too many tutorials, some plot holes (most are/can be explained but the game unfortunately doesn't always spell it out for you), Squalls persona, even Rinoa's persona is given as an excuse sometimes :)
