@CrowsofAcheron It really isn't... Every stat can have a magic junctioned to boost itself. The more quantity of magic the bigger the boost. Some magics effect stats more potently than others. An offensive magic boosts offensive stats more greatly A Life magic boost health more effectively. Where's the convolution in that? It's actually pretty intuitive when you break it apart. If there's any "convolution" it's that leveling up in of itself isn't automatic "progression" the way that all the archaic RPGs have done before. The fact that applying a little thought into your build shouldn't be seen as a bad thing.

Bro, tell me about it. I love this content, but at the same time it’s so frustrating watching her bumble her way through it without really appreciating the combat system. The most annoying thing is where she finds a draw point and has someone other than the person with that magic junctioned draw from it. If she doesn’t discover refining soon I’m gonna scream. Also, the amount of missed content (especially cards) is wild. Her live chat need to be asking for cumquat more often 😂

@@TheDoctor323LDS I'm okay with missed content, she's a first timer, she's getting all the summons at least, but the Junctions are staring her in the face all game long. Her normal attacks are doing less than 100 damage on disc 2. And the 2nd most egregious thing is she's overlerly dependant on summons for her damage because she's ignoring playing in the junction menu... Which is fine, she's clearing battles. But if she's gonna just summon rush all the content, maybe she should look through the options and turn off extended summon animations so that they end after she boosts. Those are main main 2 gripes. Just turn the toggle that shortens summon animations so she can be faster, and at least try to experiment with Junctions instead of using auto-assign. Because once she sees that magic quantity affects the stats, she's gonna be more mindful about who gets what magic.

Hey Jess, greetings from rainy England happy new year I just wanted to say how much i enjoy watching your ff play throughs. You first popped up on my recommendations whilst playing through rebirth and I've been watching ever since. The older ff games really are something special. I'm really hoping you play through FF X at some point in my unpopular opinion that was the last best old school ff of its time. Anyway keep on streaming 😂. uematsu is God 😂😂😂
