@@KagedStorm 2month old message necro bumped. And finally someone who gets it! (Obvious sarcasm responded in kind) I spent time running the FF1 Randomizer NES version with that community and the challenge is what makes it interesting. Choices and gambles. Taking the combat out of FF1 with the item cheez means it not a challenge run it a walk thru the park. Feel free to enjoy the walk, but don't get upset that others are bored.

If they could glitch to the end credits they would, that's why it's called Any%. NES has a glitch that as long as you have the right person in slot 3 you can always run and a step count to manipulate encounters. Is that really more thrilling to watch for you?

@@aliasv6964 Also levelling in the PSP version is so fast that you'll pretty easily wipe out anything in your path, you can now save in dungeons, and the game showers you with items and money.

So you rigged the game where the white mage always acts last with the heal spell, in other words since you tweaked the game….. it doesn’t count as a legitimate speed run.
