I remember the translation coming out two years ago. I managed to grab a projector cord for my laptop to be able to display on my TV (because it didn't have an HDMI port for... some reason) so I could EXPERIENCE this game after years of hearing about it on a big screen. Got myself grub and drinks, sat down ready for a full day with no responsibilities so I could get full immersion... then after doing the beginning race, I got a text from my uncle telling me my grandmother passed away. To hopefully stop myself from rambling, my mood was shot the rest of the day and I hadn't touched RL since. This video popping up was the reminder I needed to get a fresh start on it. I love the atmosphere, the music, the character designs and concept. Plus it's in that sweet spot of coming out not long after FF8 and FF9, which are some of my favorites.
