i feel like they should put another fight with him before Fusoya break the mind control. Like to weaken him so that he can break the spell. I mean being the antagonist of the most part of the game and you only get to fight him once, not even need to mention the one time u fight him in SNES version was such a joke.

1:38 1:45 - Hilarious in Hindsight: Not only Cecil ends upbeing manipulated in After Years, Shizuma Hodoshima (Cecil's voice actor) ends up voicing Streibough in the remake of Live a Live (albeit Hodoshima did the wizard's counterpart in the stage play "Maou Kourin"). Considering that Oersted is an expy of Cecil and Streibough is Rydia with Kain's gender and personality (but much worse).... Guess Cecil's role is indeed reversed. Although Shizuma Hodoshima's character still ends up being the winner of a Love Triangle. (Cecil and Rosa, Streibough and Alethea)

Am I the only one who notices that Golbez's voice completely changes after he wakes? Seriously, listen to him during his first meeting with Cecil and company, then listen to him here. I know that its Anthony Landor all the way through the game, but the change was so jarring, I admit I thought that Golbez suddenly got a brand-spanking new voice actor simply for the sake of his reformation.

Rarely does a remake of a game actually make the original story better. The original game didn't include the flashback, nor the revelation that Cecil's abandonment was his doing. In recontextualizes what Golbez said about there already being hatred in his heart.
