@@pitonto16 really, i played/mastered 7-10 but only massively enjoyed 7 and 9 really, with obviously 7 being the best. i tried 11 for about 10 minutes before turning it off, same with the 7 remake xd

I remember when I was living at home with my parents, I would turn on my PlayStation and boot up FFIX, just to enter Dali to hear this song loop. I would do it often while doing homework or playing on my computer. Thank you for sharing this music.

I'm a 33 year old man now, so even tough I was 10 years old when this game came out, it was still a hug part of my childhood. I can't even remember how many times I played that opening segment in Alexandria. The play, the running over rooftops, the Steiner chase... And I also remember fighting that monster in the subway-like system with the Gargant.... Ahh, nostalgia hit's hard here.

I’m playing through FF IX for the first time and absolutely love it so far, the story, characters, music is all top notch. I grew up playing FF VIII and that game will always be something special to me. So far i must say that i enjoy FF IX even more than VIII to be honest but that may be partly due to having played VIII many times. This song is my absolute favourite so far so it’s a joy to hear it being played on an instrument :)

Finally! One of my all time favorite FF tracks. This part of FFIX is one of the best. Such a great moment, and this track is so fitting for it. It's like the whole game up until this part has been a mad-dash forward. "Kidnapping" the Princess, crashing your airship, getting through the woods, running across the country side, making your way through the Ice Cavern, and then finally after all of that, you reach Dali. You're first "breather" moment. Or is it?
