@@tonberry2670 I'm pretty sure they were too lazy to make separate walk animations for each character. Considering at the time FFX was priority and this game was not it makes sense as to have rushed material. FFX obviously got a huge majority of Nemuras attention. Almost to the point I would question if he tried very hard on the character design for 9 entirely considering Quinna, Freya, and Amarant. Literally the worst most BS filler characters I've ever seen. The story in 8 was so complex in comparison you would think a genius wrote 8 and his cute little son came up to him and said "look daddy I'm just like you" waving around his scribbles story of what he thinks is amazing, and a picture of a young boy with a friggin tail holding a princess's hand. For real come on. Then FFX story is so complex it need multiple hands on deck. The game was even scrapped at one point. So many things were changed. FF9 was rushed. It could have been better.

@@NevesThaMenace actually FF8 was pretty clearly rushed to take advantage of the FF7 hype. The story takes a complete nose dive after the first disc. “Omg guess what.. somehow we’re all from the same orphanage... but the GFs made us forget... except for Rinoa though lol.” The draw system was awful and redundant considering Triple Triad and refining cards breaks the game so easily. FF9 is a better FF in every single way, and has more detailed graphics to boot. You definitely have a separate walk animation... did you even play the game? The characters are all wonderfully written, and it’s full of genuinely heartwarming and funny moments. It explores many deep themes, certainly much more than “a kid with a tail holding hands with a princess.” Clearly you didn’t finish or even play the game. ALSO Nomura didn’t even design the characters in 9 lmao so it’s REALLY clear you don’t know what you’re talking about.

@@Laezar1 Its just a slang phrase. Essentially elevating how serious a matter is by "swearing" upon something held precious. "On god!" Is commonly used after a threat to indicate seriousness and the gravity of the situation. If you swear on god, your parents, and your whole neighborhood, then that means you're EXTREMELY serious.

I was terrified of Beatrix's Shock (as well as her other sick spells) and level spells (LV 5 Death, for example), cause when it happens, I usually don't remember my party levels and the suspense if we get through or not is killing me :D

I literally just finished playing it. It's kind of menu heavy because of the way skills work and it has some pacing issues in spots that feel like they last a bit too much. But overall? Great game, great characters, great music, great atmosphere... hope you had time to play it already.

@@allenjan9086 FF9 brings back the routes of FF games , it brings back the word and feeling *FANTASY* i haven't felt this way since FF1 , FF 4 , FF 5 , FF 3 and even FFXIII Am 100% the reason people hated it FFXIII was because it was standing by its word *FANTASY* People forget what FF games were meant to be . FF9 is surely 1 of *THE* best FF games ever made by human hand !!! It deserves a remake !!!

That's funny, cause Freya was the star of my team, but her and vivi died in the middle of the final fight to random side effects. Then Zidane and Garnet held it down, by themselves, like champs. It was awesome.
