Final Fantasy Mystic Quest - Battle 2 (Boss Theme) (Mega Man X Remix)

I've had this song in my plans for almost 4 years and getting to work on it was such a relief 🤣
The entire process was really challenging tho, I was so dissatisfied with how it sounded that I had to remake the entire FL Studio project from scratch. After already trying to mix it from scratch, so 3 times the charm I guess.
All things considered, I'm happy with how this sounds and I'm satisfied with the new things I added to it, I hope you guys enjoy this just as much!

Glad to see this theme being remixed. Most would think of the regular battle theme or final boss theme as a potential remix to do for this game (in fact, Rockman 4 Minus Infinity had a 8-bit remix of the final boss theme for one of its fights), but the boss theme is equally as good. Great job on this !

Cause the market hadn't been over-saturated with mediocre shit yet, Kick-ass music and/or graphics on nes/snes were sometimes all it took for it to be remembered for decades. Rise of the Robots as an example. Game fucking sucked, but the graphics kicked ass and the music was dope so people will still search it out on here.

I genuinely love Mystic Quest, and if one tried to separate the music from the rest of the game, I'd still enjoy both, but this is ABSOLUTELY the best kind of vibe for a boss battle. Just go full-on metal, weapons equipped, break your limits, and go all-out combat master. This is a really fantastic cover of the song that I'd say does it complete justice, like an amateur jumping knight and a friend of his!

A really underrated game in my opinion, with an awesome soundtrack! Sure, it might not be the best RPG out there, but as a kid, it really helped me understand how round-based combat works in such games. Also, I really enjoyed the designs for the heroes and monsters.
