Bro, I grew up with this game and yes, the game wishes it were as hard as its soundtrack. But, seriously: Thank you for remaking this so damn well. I swear, when recalling old memories, you always remember them just a little bit better and this pays that homage perfectly. I hope that if a remaster of Mystic Quest is ever done, they consider you as top choice for the soundtrack!

Hmm... Definitely a remake rather than a remaster (remaster would be more like taking the original recording prior to being compressed for SNES memory/audio limitations and adjusting the bass/treble levels & cleaning up any noise in that version). But I like what you are doing here, though! It reminds me of a solid OCRemix submission attempt.

I usually don't enjoy remasters as people often time try to put their own "spin" on it, and miss capturing what made the original so compelling to listen to. This is outstanding. Epic ... Every single instrument has the perfect time to shine without overstaying its welcome . The only one that I think could be better is here 00:28 I like the original more only in this part , the calm and solemn instrument that plays here in the original makes it more memorable . Other than that , it's a great remix
