If you played this as a child, or like me it was your first RPG, this shit set a near impossible standard for video game music until the PS1 era, and in some cases many RPG's haven't topped it.

Razore' Arcwolf, he's supposed to be nameable by default. At least in the manual or a Nintendo Power article for the game I read, I thought his given name for such was Benjamin.

This is probably one of the few games that have boss battle themes that actually make the bosses sound dangerous, and you know, if you get careless (and don't exploit the Life spell), bosses in this game can actually be dangerous if you're not taking them seriously. A little bad RNG, especially any boss that has nasty status effects (especially Confusion), and you're going to be staring at the Retry prompt. The game is oftentimes panned for being ridiculously easy, but yet the bosses are easily on par with other RPGs, and let's not say anything about the final boss if you don't use Life as a heal and you don't cast Cure on him.

Man, despite its reputation, I still love this game and its OST. It was my first RPG and back then I even had trouble with it, unable to find my way around the Lava Dome for a while and even being unable to beat its boss. Nowadays of course it's real easy for me, but it was a fantastic introduction to the genre for me. The soundtrack will always give me goosebumps for how good it is! Not gonna lie, I would love for this game to get a full blown remake someday, where it becomes a harder, more fleshed out experience. Doubt that's ever going to happen, but man would I love that, and hearing new official renditions of these songs to boot.
