This soundtrack may be the closest to what I hear in my head if I were to ever make a game. The instrument arrangements and palette the composers used are perfect. Celtic and Japanese at the same time. Makes for a great fantasy sound

Mixed feels. I felt (tots opinion cause I’m not a musician but I likes what I likes) the beginning was rushed. The second part however was candy that I stole from a baby. Sweet and lovely

So, it's funny, I actually agree with you that the beginning FEELS rushed. This is actually a 1-to-1 recreation timing-wise, tho. I considered stretching the beginning a bit to let it feel longer, but decided to keep to authentic.

@@JacobShrum lol there would have been nothing wrong with that. I think what makes music authentic is keeping the same poetry as the original. Not necessarily the tempo or the mechanics of music. I think u won’t screw the original over by increasing the tempo by a lil 😉. But you know...u still have my vote regardless

I believe there’s 10 on the soundtrack proper P.R. Movie Warrior’s Hideout Mission Complete And I Ran Away Game Over Final Battle Fanfare 2 Ultima tracks Epilogue Staff Credits Then there’s some tracks from the game that were never released, of which I believe there are 7

The percussion/cymbals in the beginning compete too much with the bagpipes. I wish there was a violin instrument that had more vibrance in texture vs the silky smoothness here. Everything else about this is a great improvement to the original.
