@@SoundFontGuy thank you so much man! i’m always on the hunt for quality recreations of old game sounds, and next ep we’re still including a lot of lsdj stuff, but i want to include a lot more of that ps1/snes/n64 era sound. i got a sc88vl and a ns5r to sample and make loop points on my hardware, but i think you’ve done the heavy lifting for me! and thanks for the compliments! i mix all of our music!

As someone who is trying to get back into music after some things happened, and as someone who is obsessed with Ivalice (the world in the FF Tactics game, Tactics Ogre, etc.) this is a dream come true. I know nothing about how to make banks or sound fonts and your videos have been very interesting and enjoyable to watch. I don't have money for the HQ version but I will be messing around with the PS1, which oddly is what I would want to use for the time being, a lot. Thank you!!

I am a huge Ivalice fan myself, which was of course the inspiration for this soundpack. I am really glad to know that this has sparked something for you. Please don't feel any pressure to buy the HQ pack, as it's just an optional feature. The are no limitations to the PSX version with the exception of "quality," but the PSX quality is still quite good and it's more faithful to the original game that way anyway. The whole purpose of this is to give people free tools to make music inspired by their favorite games - and I'm glad to know that it's headed in that direction for you. Thanks you for your comment. It's hearing things like this that makes this hobby so rewarding.

@@SoundFontGuy Have you considered making banks that follow the Tactics Advance soundfont whether it be GBA advanced or A2 for the DS? Honestly A2 is my favorite and it has a distinct sound to it over the other tactics games. I would pay greatly for a bank like that.
