Final Fantasy Tactics: Souls of Destiny, Part 53: Finale and Good Ending

This is a play through of Souls of Destiny, a full game length story mod of Final Fantasy Tactics. This is an alternate universe story in which many of the original characters still feature in important roles.
In addition to a new story, it contains dozens of new sprites, new maps, new spell effects and music imported from other games.
Currently this is a beta version and has some spelling errors, events that need some cleaning up and the Deep Dungeon isn't complete.

I was just curious which class did you take out for the heavenly knight? this game is so perfect its such a fun mod great job conman been loving the mod.

Thank you comments Joshua. No generic job was removed for the heavenly knight. Delita doesn't have a unique job class in this game so his squire and holy knight became early Ramza's "noble" and late game Ramza/Balbanes "heavenly knight"

Unfortunately there is no ost out there. Sorry about that. You could technically get a hold of the mod and there is a hack that can be applied that takes you from the main screen to a music test.

How do I find these versions of final fatansy tactics? This game after Dark Souls is my favorite game, however in Brazil it doesn't have a big community and I only find videos in English. And unfortunately English is not my strong point... I really wanted to have access to these modified versions.

Hi Leonardo. While it is in English, I do have a list of things to acquire if you wanted to play it: You will need a copy of the original game mod. A playstation emulator. A copy of the game patch: ffhacktics.com/smf/index.php?topic=9333.0 And a program to patch it as well: ffhacktics.com/wiki/Tools Most people use PPF-O-MATIC found on that tools page. The ffhacktics.com page has bunches of mods on there. I have seen that on the Brazilian final fantasy tactics facebook page, a guy was making a translation. Man i really wished they had made a sequel to fft that had a bunch of new unique classes like this. This is too cool. I play fft on my android emulator... is it possible to have this mod on android?

First of all, I'm playing this game since 2002. Every year new campaign. Never like to mods, always sticked to original till this. This mod is art work. Story is alpha plus. Good things about this mod: *You made to queen forefront. *Also Goltana's and Larg's themselves and their councilors are active in battles. Apparently you have same feelings with all FFT lovers about them: How is Duke powerful? How is his first men? *Making Izlude and Meliadoul are indepented is nice. Also Wiegraf has well deserved place. *Dialogs are nice. Trash talks etc. *Lotr universe names in random enemies feels good. Don't want to say bad things but lets say things to could improve: *Boss fights are easy. (maybe its for getting enjoy the game i don't know) *Story of Alma okayish. *Where is Zalbag in this story? Good side-Bad side? We killed him but why? It feels like Elmdor but no regret in Connor. I didn't understand that. *There is a sidequest in Goug. Main character and Mustadio against 5 enemy. Hard fight and you can't gear as you like the Connor. He cames with standard gear and talents. *Marvel things not fits in this universe for me. Gilgamesh, minatour brothers and elidibs was cool. In the end you did this and giving people free. If i had a job wish to donation, support or something. Thank you for making this mod.

Thank you for the feedback! I'm still trying to smooth out various things through out and it helps to hear good and bad! Balance on some fights is definitely needed. The Alma story could certainly be fleshed out, it's sort of just there in the background and setting up the end of the chapter. Zalbag is just sort of there. He's pretty much as ignorant here as he is in vanilla. Not evil but really just a noble of his era. Makes you wonder how he would have been if his father still lived and could advise him. I sort of took the angle that Elmdor was sort of cornered and defensive and looked only from that angle. I love the shrine knights and was really happy giving them something to do. I will take note of this Goug side quest issue. I did really like the idea of a buddy adventure but the odds are stacked heavy AND the bug you mention. I have tried to think of how the clearly marvel characters could be blended with reason...

Rom is sharing is illegal, but they are relatively easy to find (or you could rip a copy from the original tactics disc). The original rom + the patch ( ffhacktics.com/smf/index.php?topic=9333.0 ) applied with the patcher utility on this website will do the trick.

Yup, secret as skill from a sidequest. Ultima was the original tactics secret skill. An over the top martial artist as a main character needed something crazy!

Thank you for your kind words. Cid does show up as a combatant a few times through out. I wasn't huge on adding Cloud because the original seemed to be very heavy on various sword wielders and it was something I wanted to get away from. At some point, I may make a brief guide or secret revealed sort of document. There are not any big move-find item secrets and all side quests can be found by regularly checks bar rumors.

@@emadlucifer007 You have 2 out of 3. The other is a masked character appearing in a side quest. He needs to survive the battle, but the battle can be won even if he dies.

Yup, hasn't been much beta-testing, but that has been a frequent point brought up. Should be cranked up in the future and have some super battles added on in.
