I've been playing through the WoTL version on Vita recently and was wondering along my playthrough if it was still possible to pass on Zodiark like this, I deliberately didn't learn any summons on any of my character's summon job with the expectations I'd have to do something like this. I love this game, it has a lot of charm and these little quirks like this always made me really appreciate the game. All of he Move Find/Treasure Hunter and item stealing, things that I know a lot of players seem to find as pointlessly tedious and bullshit, were things we all were excited to discover and do.

Capture something that does NOT have summon, I used a ninja in angry woods (translation, I forget) Then I unlocked summon with the ninja by leveling it up. Once summon is unlocked you are ready to teach that ninja Zodiark. In the final battle of the Midlights Deep, the boss will have to hit the ninja/summoner. Your ninja/summoner has to be in summon job call and you will learn Zodiark when he gets hit. Having your summoner learn MP Absorb is good cause it almost ensures the ninja/summoner can survive the boss cast of Zodiark. Afterwards get the ninja/summon charmed in a battle and have him hit your summoners 1 at a time.

@@user-battlescar1313 The capture part isn't really necessary, as long as you haven't learned any of the summon spells on that unit. I used Luso as my primary Zodiark learner, and he's spreading it to my other party members right now.

if you miss zodiark from elidibus, is it impossible to get it anymore? I am not sure if a summoner in terminus after elidibus might have it and cast it to learn from him

There is only 1 battle you learn Zodiark in and you could miss the chance completely. If any of your characters DID learn the summon, you have a slim chance that character will cast Zodiark (the more summons the character knows the lower the odds of it being cast). If you failed to learn it there isn't another summoner in the main game to learn it from.

@@97432561 ​If the summoner knows Zodiac and Shiva it is likely going to cast Shiva which will slow down the process of teaching Zodiac to everyone.

I tried to have enemy thief charmed my summoner but somehow when needed they dont use charm, its frustating to find a thief and once you find them they dont do exactly as you wanted them to 🥲 (by the way, i had a female to learn that zodiark now to find a male thief is a pain 🤣)

Yep finding a male thief can sometimes be harder than finding a female.

@@christopherwong2243 The enemy has to be the opposite gender as your summoner. So if you have a male summoner with only zodiark you need a female thief. If you have a female summoner you need a male thief. One final thing to keep in mind is the enemy thief you use needs to also have charm learned.

@@user-battlescar1313 thats the problem right, we dont know if the thief has the charm ability or not. Been letting my female summoner around the male thief for more than an hour but he didn't cast charm at all.
