Then you add Delita to the mix, your chances of winning drastic go down. See the 3 way at Death City, you got a 33 1/3 chance of winning, but I, I got a 66 and 2/3 chance of winning, because Delita KNOWS he can't beat me and he's not even gonna try! So Algus, you take your 33 1/3 chance, minus my 25% chance and you got an 8 1/3 chance of winning at Death City. But then you take my 75% chance of winning, if we was to go one on one, and then add 66 2/3 per cents, I got 141 2/3 chance of winning at Death City. Agrias is my #1 favorite character from Tactics, as she saved my sorry hide big time when I fought Queklain/Cu Chulainn for the very first time. I went in to that fight with my "usual team" that consisted of Ramza, Agrias, a Knight, a White Mage with Black Magic, & a Thief. Ramza & Agrias were my main damage-dealers, my Knight was pretty much my designated "tank", my mage was there either for support/healing if the fight got nasty or nuking them with black magic if there was a lot of "fodder" to get rid of, and I brought my Thief because I was expecting a boss I could steal from like with Gaffgarion prior. Very first turn, Queklain petrifies Ramza before he even gets to act (and at the time I had no way to cure him, as while my White Mage did know Gold Needle, she didn't have the Items ability equipped, nor did she know Esuna yet) which completely took him out of the fight and robbed me of one of my two main damage-dealers and left me with only four characters available to try and kill Queklain. By the time Queklain died, my Thief was down and was at 0 turns left before she crystallized (IIRC, if Queklain hadn't died right then, her turn was next so she would have been gone permanently), my mage was totally spent on MP and was down to about 25% HP, my Knight was down to about 20 HP total, Agrias was down to about 50% HP....and Ramza was still petrified. Ever since then, Agrias has had a special place in my heart for saving child me from losing my first attempt at beating Queklain. As a result, as soon as I am able to permanently recruit her, she becomes a permanent mainstay on my "A Team".

cloud is actually VERY powerful, one of his limits does more dmg based on how much dmg uve done to the enemy, so its a major boss killer, its his 4th move

I mean, I still think he is inferior by far and a disappointment as a special character, The charge time even with Swiftness is still low and he is a liability. Agrias, Meliadoul just out damage him easily and faster He is still fun to mess around with though and I have a blast mixing things up

No he isn't. He just has a unique sprite and Poach built into game hunter. However if you dismiss him you can never get him again. But its up to you.

I grinded pretty hard in Chapter 1, Monk with Dual Wield, Move +2, Counter, Mettle. Ramza attacks and kills, Ramza gets attacked and kills lol so broken. Black Mage with Arcane Strength, Mana Shield, Manafont, White Magic. Dragoon with with Attack Up, Move +2, Counter, Martial Arts. Mystic with Equip Shield, Regenerate, Move +2, Speechcraft. Geomancer with Equip Heavy Armor, Nature's Wrath, Move +2, and Steal.

Having higher faith in general means enemy magic will hit way harder and things like Slow are way more likely to land not just Ramza but his faith stat can be higher at 97. So what you can do is get it to 97 and just not use magic for a more challenging run lol

Everyone sleeps on Luso, but he's *easily* as strong as Cid, due to his ability to boost his own speed. On a map bigger than 12x12 Cid will never catch up to Luso, until Lusos speed is so high he goes 5-6 times before Cid can blink. Only way Cid wins the fight, is on a small map.

I was watching some tactics competition video on KZbin and I knew early on they were using a mod during it (the psp vs option gaming; wish they were playing without cheats or mods- the way intended though..) and adding moves from FFTA like Saint Cross, Throw Dagger etc. BUT then I saw in a battle one had the holy knight version of Delita- I thought they cheated for him, gave the video a dislike & stopped watching but thought maybe he’s a hidden character I don’t/ didn’t know about but seems not- glad I wasn’t mistaken but also, sucks that I wasn’t lol 😂 Yeah, got all these characters but the last. Never do that thing you have to battle through to get him so… And don’t look cool or sound interesting enough to bother with…

It’s that purple skinned beast… Doing all these battles in this dark map place & IF the creature survives, it joins your gang, that you mentioned last. Besides, let down or not… Can always equip him and do solo battles using just him for MORE of a challenge for one’s self & grits & giggles too… But monster characters… Cool & can be fun to have in your party (imo the dragons & [black] Behemoths) but… The secrete monster…. Eh. Just a purple sprite of those white creatures in the last fight with those two assassins..

Only played the ps1 version... But i played that thing to death .. i hate the grind though... And also Cloud... That dude is a big disappointment... And the reason i never really gave ff7 that high of a praise that everybody thinks it deserves.. Is the psp version better than the ps1 version that it deseves a run? Or is it just the same experience?

Hmm if you hate the grind then I'm not so sure then. I like Final Fantasy 7 a lot. He is a beast in that one and if you love old school JRPGs it is worth it. If you can access the other features like the co op multiplayer and are interested in some of the side quests I do recommend it. But based on this comment I'm not sure I will as the names of the abilities and sounds might be a turn off

Outside of FFT I don't play that many other JRPG tactical games. I mean, it would be cool and I'd buy it personally. But based on sales and to make the most money I'm not sure if that is the best decision financially since it didn't sell as well compared to other Final Fantasy titles despite being well praised and loved by its smaller fan base.
