Love seeing a deck with that many 3-ofs. Very neat concept.

Me and my friend are just getting into fftcg. I had started as a collector of ff memorabilia. We are scratching our heads about monsters and how often they are played and why. This is good to see, thanks!

I'm really pleased that they had an impact on you! Hope you're having a great time getting into FFTCG.

Finally! I had the exact same feeling on this Flan! Great to see my feeling acknowledged. Have been playing Flans since Opus 4! So will be getting back to this deck again. One thing on the CP economy: Rather I would say that using Edward in a turn is a bit less then losing 1cp, more like half a cp and the value gain is more like 2,5cp, as you remove a card as well

I love this deck, finding what cards to cut down on was pretty tough. Managed to fit 2x mist dragons in though since I can't afford rufus at the moment.

Me too! I laterally moved to 17 Earth cards and felt better for it.

I enjoy the DTTs, thanks. I have some thoughts on mono ice without trying to sound argumentative, and as a player who used to love to play 'Flantotto'. I worry that all the flans will lead to 'flan-flooding' your turn draws when you don't want to see a flan. And while the new flan is a cool ability in the mid game when you have 6 or so flans in the BZ, it doesn't seem like it will help with early aggro that is so prevelant these days. Shantotto also just seems inefficient when you boardwipe for 7, but your opponent builds 3 forwards the next turn for cheaper (plus the especially relevant drawback of basically scooping to Chaos/ark when mono is a way to 'tech' against a top tier deck). I feel shinryu is still the best boardwipe for mono Ice, and the new Luso can work in tandem with the ramp plan, but also allows madeen to not be a dead draw anymore, covering ice's weakness to removal. I also think that Cait sith is an underrated legend though. It isn't hard with Luso and Emina now to get to 5 backups on turn 3. Cait sith is live during the early game against setup decks where it is most effective. Wind, 4 color, etc trying to have a clean backup curve on their turn 3 with 3 dull backups and 2 cards in hand feels like a great Cait sith play. Then the plan is to play good mid range ice cards like Rufus, Weiss, Y'shtola, etc before top decking a kurasame, Shiva, Anima, or even Ultimecia for a closer. I think mono Ice ramp doesn't need wholesale card slot changes, but Luso and Cait sith are actually quite positive for it's playstyle.

I also think Zenos looks really powerful, but may be better utilized in a standard ice/Lightning midrange list with kadaj and Irvine. I think a high ex burst I/L that boarders the aggro/midrange line is really helped by Zenos.

I know it's still silly, but have you considered Gogo? He still has many effects with the flan build. Double search flan, double discard, attack with Gogo discard, pay 3 twice or fwd cant attack/block, etc(some can be done on opponent's turn too, like new flan). If committed, could even Physalis special 😆
@YunaYoungTeam2 ай бұрын
Honestly, I did! But in a slightly different list. I really love Flan Gogo Ghido. Discard two, followed by a Draw 4 on your opponent's turn is backbreaking. But that was a lot of passive slots that don't interact with the field.

Hmm what do you think about a Type-0 deck? Probably still not enough good cards? I think the new Type-0 are the biggest let down of this set 🙄 I really did hope for much more.

I think King is a dreadful card, genuinely Opus 9 Rare tier. But on the bright side, Queen is pretty great. Some elements in common with Sterne Leonis, if you squint hard enough. Might be something there.

I had a lot of fun with Flan during our pre-release event. Would yah believe it that I pulled enough of them in sealed, and pulled off the break zone effect in a game! It didn’t hurt that witch of the fens made an appearance too.

That's sounds like a heavenly prerelease kit! Then you'll know how strong this effect can be. :D

Was the deck list updated on ffdecks? The forward line is very different, with Kurasame added and Physalis missing. Wondering if that is an old list.
@YunaYoungTeam3 ай бұрын
Ohh, good catch. It is an old list, updating now.

Not the YYT admitting they used Cait Sith as clickbait 😂❤️

Hey just want to make sure you’re aware that the list on ffdecks is unavailable as if it were marked private. Hope you all are doing well!

When Rufus' auto ability triggers to select 1 of 2, after you make the choice does the effect go on the stack for the opponent to possibly respond to? For example can they Mist Dragon break zone after you pick to grab a turk from break zone?
