Due to the SNES verison didn't come to the West, this was our 1st impressions of FF5. Where the fun light-hearted adventurous world was done all dark and gritty with brooding emo loner Bartz. I know about Amano's art but it really clashes with the game itself. I'm glad Dissidia chose Amano's alternative design for Bartz which is alot closer to his game sprite. Also it didn't help with the terrible load times and bad translation. I'm glad this was improved in the GBA version

PS1 FMVs really confused us with character hair colors. Same is true with FF6

@@leargamma4912 The difference comes from the Amano art of the characters versus the in game sprites. Amano tends to draw a lot of his female characters with blonde hair, whereas they have more varying hair colors in the games themselves. Dissidia/Opera Omnia are based on the original art, which is why they look different.

@@Jordan3DS Amano is wrong, then. The art was done based on the in game sprites, as those sprites were created FIRST.

@@leargamma4912I dunno if I'd say "wrong", just "different". Opera Omnia does a pretty smart thing with it where the characters are all based on their Amano designs, but their alternate costumes are their sprite designs. Some characters have better sprite designs and some have better art designs, but they're all great no matter what.

I think there are two after credits FMVs. The extended one only plays if you beat Omega and Shinryu.

@@FUSZION No its the IOS version? Heavily non pixel art style I really wish there was an option to switch Think Halo CE remaster where you can press a button at ANY time and have original or remastered
