I used this guide, honestly u gotta be really skilled to pull this off within 10 tries, i got it within 4. The last 7 is hugely luck based tbh. U gotta watch this guide carefully then attempt it to fully gasp what ur doing, gl fellow gamers, u will get it 2.

I have bad arthritis and the timings on this were extremely tight so I had to adjust to following strat for a slower tap tap from my old hands First: Diamond, Bahamet center with double chocobo BARELY visible, if I could get diamond and bahamet slightly above center, even better Second: Bahamet, Airship center with chocobo bahamet barely visible at top Third: airship in center or above it, if it's even slightly below it, no good for slow hands. bahamet above the airship Another important note with 2nd is that there are actually TWO different chocobo, bamamet syncs, and one of them is wrong one for the 7, so my method avoids that problem too since it's matching 4 and not just 2

Also, open up ps5 controller and modify option button to be air trigger because it's extremely painful to keep mashing that button. it's tiny and requires more force than any other button on controller. the stamina to keep mashing the options button is just too much. PS4 controller isn't as bad, but honestly modifying ps5 button is probably bettter long term anyways. it shouldn't require so much force for such a tiny button

@@phoenix_shade I got trophy though with the adjusted timing that suited me. I'll upload video of me rapid firing it at end. with the hair trigger controller I was slamming gogo and setzer repeatedly nailing it and of course game rigging the last roll but just one after another after another nailing it. I was like "oh we're in the lightning round now". and also "oh I know i got that one, and that one, and that one you rigged bitch" sadly the way I recorded it, didn't capture MY audio :D

I'm only 41, but i've been playing games I can remember. using PCs since 12. and when I can work using computers did that too. needless to say these hands got 3+ decades of abuse. I gotta wear compression gloves to work or game and I'm so grateful every day many games are more accommodating than they used to be. Things like "allow hold to replace mashing" are huge. Never giving up my games, just approaching them differently

I just got it following your method. Took maybe 10-15 attempts in the same battle. I kept messing up the first slot and getting the chocobo. Causing me to get chocobo stampede and kill all the enemies. Once I managed to stay in the same battle for more than 6 attempts I eventually got in.

Apparently, you can also help your behind the scenes roll by making sure certain animations play as you're selecting the first reel. Get a character silenced, have the character acting just before Setzer use an echo screen and get that first reel 7 locked during the smoke animation.

Thank you so much this was the only trophy keeping me from the platinum. I hope this helps but what i did differently was i followed your timings to the last trophy but i instead paused it on the edge of the bahamut and before the 7 and then i grabbed my turbo contoller and hit x twice and it landed. Hope this helps someone out there struggling on the last 7. In closing F you square enix and these bs rng trophies.

Thats weird. If you click on the third wheel with bahamut in the top frame it triggers the luck roll. You just have to keep doing the same thing until you get the roll and presto. I did it twice in 10 mins. Maybe RNG hate you : (

And this is so annoying. I spent the last hour and a half trying this technique, and every time the random screws me over. I’ve got really good at spinning sevens on the first two, and I can even spin seven on the third slot if the middle sort isn’t a seven every time, but the random just throws me out. You can’t literally see the sprite jolt upwards to prevent you getting a final seven!! I will give it another try tomorrow!

Yeah apparently when you press on the correct spot for the third wheel the game does a luck roll. If you fail the roll you end up with a diamond. I don’t know what the odds are but i got it twice in 10 attempts
