Strangely for some reason I can't seem to cancel her square held uppercut with my guard. Is there a really strict timing for canceling it or am I overlooking something else? :o

Yes, as soon as you see the second hit where she is about to do the uppercut immediately press the block button. You got this!

Nahh they need to nerf her. Already a powerhouse capable of soloing in remake already. Now she’s no different. Meanwhile no other came close to her power

Yeah there's a problem with tifa, she's insanely strong, kinda remind me of OG ff7 speedruns where they mostly use tifa because she's insane there as well. Even for casual play the amount of % stagger damage she's increasing is just too good, none other characters can really compete.

I think her gameplay strength is some kind of compensation for her weak performance in the story, so some aggressive Tifa fans won't send the devs death threats over her being shoved away by Cloud, nearly killed by him again, and having absolutely no 1 vs 1 Ws.

@@ryugaroxas Let's be real here: people were different almost 30 years ago. Games, in general, were niche for “stinky nerds in their basements"; the majority never took fictional characters that deep to heart. Tifa was criticized for being weak gameplay-wise, but her looks bailed her (or Squaresoft) out. Nowadays are funny days. The gaming industry became, metaphorically speaking, a house for everyone to enter, and that played out badly, huge thanks to a trend to play an offended victim for almost a decade. Surprisingly, companies complied with that “snowflaky” behavior. People have recognized the pattern, and the most obnoxious and entitled of them used it to make others do what they want by harassing the devs online, sending them death threats, etc.
