His voice quite fits him, y'know. At that moment he announced it, he gave it a deeper tone, and I could picture the character in my head. His voice isn't as deep as Steve Blum's, but sounds younger, which is a better fit for Vincent IMHO. Also, it's cool to know that Mercer and Blum are good friends.

Naw my best friend does it too. His every playthrough after the first, he renamed Red to Nanaki which was cute but resulted in one weird funny line of "Nanaki's real name is Nanaki!"

@@r-test3668 Nah dude I didn't say that, Cid might make an appearance but it might be how Red XIII went down in remake you know? You can talk to him and stuff but you can't use him as a character in battle. I'm only presuming here because they've only showed Vincent and if you played the game you now Cid is the last character to join the party in FF7. I'm hoping I'm wrong tho.

@@r-test3668 What do you mean ? They already confirmed there is a third game and that Rebirth will end at the city of the ancients (probably right after that iconic scene). Cid joins the team slightly before that point, so it is very likely that he will work like Red worked on Remake and will just be a companion, being promoted to a fully-fledged party member on part 3.

@@DakonBlackblade2up to this point, I heard it was confirmed that Vincent will be a companion in Rebirth, but nothing was announced about Cid. I believe he'll also be a guest party member.
