I've pretty much done the same after watching this trailer about 6 times, I'm so happy how hype everyone is for this! Hopefully Square will see how much love the game has from everyone and get disc 2 and 3 done faster but with the same amount of love and care they have put in the first disc (judging off the trailers) and thank you! :D

Her reaction has been one of my favorites so far (as well as Max's) because it just transcends a video game for her. The emotions are so real and raw and I honestly feel the same way. Every time we got baited into thinking a remake of this masterpiece was coming, only to be heartbroken after. This is the culmination of what we have been waiting for, and it's so much like we all imagined it looking in our heads, and that's why the emotions are so strong and why this game, along with the other parts coming, may outdo the original.

Yeah it's great when people really bond over a game, especially being able to talk about the hard achievements in it. I.e the secret bosses or spending weeks trying to figure out how to raise a gold chocobo or replaying the game for a second time and realising you can change small parts (dating at the gold saucer, ect). I'm really happy others are feeling the same way. Hopefully people who missed out on the ps1 version can experience the magic that is FF7 😁 but I feel like the people who played the original game will love/appreciate this remake so much more.

The game has been out for a little over 2 months now and I still get worked up like you did when I watch the intro. There is nothing to be ashamed of. It’s us fans appreciating them keeping the important parts in the remake while still adding new things to keep the series alive. The devs even said they wanted to keep as much of the old as they could without making it to stale. They couldn’t have done any better than they did. Like you .... I can’t wait till disc 2! I want to see Cid my man! And of course Yuffie the pesky ninja. Now if only they would remake FF8. I need to see a 4K Irvine! Lol 😂

Though my emotions remain locked up from being physically out there, I very much am bursting with excited anticipation for this game! I'll be sad though if Red XIII isn't actually a selectable Party Member in Part 1, which is as I fear...there is no sign of him in combat.

He is a Guest Character in the new Boss Fight) This makes sense in two ways 1. He doesn't trust people 100% at this point 2. He comes to the group shortly before the end. So maybe they couldn't put together a good move set for the short amount of time. But it may be that he becomes a permanent member after the fight. Depending on when the fight takes place.
