Yes that boss!!! They wanted to challenge the players before going to crash the wedding and rescue Yuna. It’s just like when you complete Mt Gagazet and Auron says that Lady Yunalesca sent a fiend to challenge the crew. God I love the battle system too and the game is as hard or easy as you wanna make it. It is an rpg so you might wanna grind however considering this is a Lenear game (sorry think I spelled that wrong) and is highly story driven some players (like myself) wanna just keep the story going while doing the bare minimum for grinding

It was a pretty tough fight for me; I died several times. After I beat Evrae, they jumped Seymour's wedding. I didn't heal and one of the robots kicked the shit out of my team and I died. I was pretty pissed because of it

It's because this is the first actual boss of the game that you have to try and understand how to play the game and deal with status ailments or you'll die several times. Gameplay and story picks up from this point on in the game and the difficulty spike comes with it. Evrae is the boss at the climax of FFX.

This never gets old from listening to this boss battle theme. The hardest battle I ever faced was against the Sin. From what I finally beat the Sin, thanks to Anima Aeon. (If spelled right). Some times is boring converting or editing soundtracks to let it less longer or less "heavy" for each soundtrack we want to listen. On the other hand, is boring letting seven minutes playing on YT while studying and coming again on the same tab and replay over and over again, for each seven minutes. So it is up for each person or moment.

Sorry but 7 and 8 had better boss soundtracks....now the heavy metal 1 wasn't that bad but didn't have that Final fantasy feel to it.

7 is the best after that 8 and 10 is last good game. 9 is not that good fantasy tbh

"9 is the worst F.F." F.F. IX is back to the classic F.F. from 1 to 6 so it isnt bad,it back to the ancient medieval times and the game and the OST were great.The one you could say is the worst F.F. is F.F. 13,12 and 15 were so good too and many people just hated them because the gameplay without the classic turn combat system.

Hands down one of my personal favorite boss themes in all of the FF games FFIV is close next man this game was so fun but really a pain with the sphere grid grind
