Why is everyone in Spira so concerned about Sin, when there's that crazy old man in the Calm Lands who literally breeds monsters that are ten times as powerful? Seriously, he acts like he's just randomly tossing these things together, but they're all much, *MUCH* more powerful than the thing that's been terrorizing the planet for a millennia. It's madness.

Sin is still more powerful. we only beat sin because he wanted to lose. sin used up all his power before we hit him in the mouth to enter. the aeons helped us and gave their lives and they wanted to lose as well. the only one who didn't want to lose was too weak once you broke down his defenses. sin only died because we had a man on the inside and yu Yevon had no one left on his side and he probably didn't care anymore.

@@SaintUrsinus Actually I think that Yu Yevon was also not about winning or loosing. Like it is said on the story. Yu Yevon is not evil neither good. He just want to keep summoning.

I never once mentioned yu yevon. Jecht was the one who did those actions to make it so we, the player, could beat sin.

@@SaintUrsinus Is he? Both Braska's Final Aeon and Anima were created to be able to (and one of them did) destroy Sin. By this point, the main cast have defeated Braska's Final Aeon and Yuna controls Anima. By that logic, anything that can beat the main cast should be strong enough to destroy Sin.

Gamblers Spirit + Healing Spring Shining Gem + Mega-Potion Twin Stars + Level 1 Key Spheres Shadow Gem + Three Stars Grenade + MP Sphere Strength Sphere + Dark Matter End game I set my items like this at the top of my Item menu so it easy to Mix. Then I set my healing items like X-Potions, Phoenix Downs, Remedys etc, after them. Gamblers Spirit + Shining Gem = Trio of 9999 Shining Gem + Twin Stars = Hot Spurs Gamblers Spirit + Twin Stars = Eccentric Gamblers Spirit + Shadow Gem = Black Hole Gamblers Spirit + Healing Spring = Hyper Mighty G Healing Spring + Healing Spring = Hyper Null All Lv. 1 Key Sphere + Mega potion = Final wlixer Grenade + attribute sphere = Chaos Grenade Three stars + Three Stars = Sunburst. Just a few of my favourite mixes and easy to use with items set up like that.

8 years later and here i am, commenting :P I've been watching the last few episodes since ive been doing my own grind for Celestials.. and i dodged 468 lightning strikes during this episode. I thought i probably had enough and went to check, but i was still paranoid about only having like 190. What a waste of time dodging all those extras. Great videos though, really interesting while i did all that :)

He’s just using it on his own boomerang to prevent you from reflecting it with your own that’s why the visual of the boomerang looks like it comes from his arse nothing incredible m8

I might've missed it if he tried to (or he probably doesn't have it in his lineup) but you can use pray if you've used trio of 9999 and heal your party fully, too, try it out!

The mixes I use most frequently are: Trio of 9999 (Mixed with 2 Gambler's Spirits), Hyper Mighty G (Mixed with 1 Gambler's Spirit and 1 Lunar/Light Curtain), Ultra Nul All (Mixed with Healing Water and Chocobo Wing) and Eccentric (Mixed with Mana Tablet and Underdog's Secret)... Note that there are multiple combinations for all of these mixes, you don't have to use the same items as me, I would look up "rikku mix list" on google and refer to that.

That time when you face Shinryu first time and it uses eraser 7x in a row and he ambushes you twice. Had to restart against it five or four times because of that. What are the chances!?

If you got ambushed that much then it must have been that your agility wasn't at least 170+. All of my characters have at least 170 Agility and I very rarely get ambushed

I wish they had more original creations. Neslug left me annoyed that they only had one original creation. Pallet swaps are seen as lazy and they were really good at making clean looking, vibrant enemies back in ffx. I think they started to lookunclear and overly edgy in 12

Again thinking about unused content, I think maybe Neslug was going to have a "little" brother somewhere like Bikanel to go along with the Zu and Sand Worm as giant fiends. Or perhaps it was going to be a boss fight at the end of the desert? It just seems quite weird how Rikku has a unique line for it... Do any other monster creations have party member lines?

I think in the earth eater battle you can use reflect on your characters and cast holy yuna on characters and do magic damage (Yuna is usually op for me by this time) but I cant remember exactly

i know this is an old vid but im playing ffx right now/ how come you did not use the tonberry trick and farm species before you took these on? i mean my stats are way above your guy shere but im no further into the game yet. in fact ive not even completely finished the monster capturing yet my main three characters all have 255 mag def as well as evasion and accuracy. these were the first ones i grinded for from special creations.

Unless you took the time to max out Luck, then having 255 Accuracy is just a waste. If you didn't bother to farm for Luck and Fortune Sphere's than having maxed out Accuracy isn't a problem

Dion Berkland you can't summon. He has one attack which kills everyone plus eraser which deletes a character. You have to rely on him to use his normal attack every single time. And not hitting wakka with trio of 9999 etc.

Question about Shinryu: So if it can't be beaten on no sphere grid, how do people fight nemesis on no sphere grid? Don't you need to defeat all other creations before you unlock it?

You can't. Nemesis is also not beatable in an NSG game.

Like Daniel told you, you need to defeat each and every monster in the Area, Species and Original Conquests. After you do this, then Nemesis will be created by the old man and if you defeat Nemesis than YES you will get a Trophy and a Mark of Conquest

Please tell me. No status effects vs speriomorh. He Just take 94% of hp. You have trio of 9999 and you use items. Why wouldnt you use pray that will heal each for 10k?

Shinryu can be defeated NSG with either pure luck or Eraser is...,well, erased :p

Yes, I don't remember saying that no one ever had... I was referring to No Sphere Grid Shinryu, that is the one that I personally believe (despite claims) hasn't been defeated properly. If I sounded like I said NSG Dark Anima is still unbeaten I must have made a mistake, I have the video on my own channel :P

That's why I was confused... I think you said something like "this is the only enemy along with dark anima with no legitimate nsg stat defeats" but I seen your version. Was so seeing if there were other special nsg rules I didn't know (I don't know much about the special challenges, very impressive but all way out of my level of ability). lol after Tidus gets hit with the flare counter for atleast the 10th time in a row you say... "as you can see that attack is randomised" also the reason you hadnt got Blitz Ace yet is because you weren't using Tidus' Overdrive enough, I know you wanted to make the battles entertaining and to show the people who are using this as an actual guide what the enemies can do, but by using his overdrives as sparingly as you had it left his Overdrive development in the basement

so you always crit if your luck is 100 more than your enemy. luckily 130 luck from Dark Mindy is the highest in the game. second is your boi yojimbo with 114 luck. and third is Bahamut with 102 luck. Penance has only 10 luck.
