This was hilarious and also frightening when fighting Sin's fin. That fin was huge, Wakka's solution? "The blitzball will hurt it, if I throw it hard enough..." Oof - well, at least the ball came back after I threw it.

Well well I’m playing giant whale beast of mass destruction jecht cancer sore advocate he did do some nice things for the people and he loved tidus, and tidus was just a dream because tidus was dead. Playing sins advocate here I believe jecht was the only survivor of the original sin attacks. So jecht said f this shiz I’m going to save the fing world. And he find his son one day and experienced the love of his life and returned happiness to a world that didn’t even understand the value of a child or life. He loved his son, and even though his son hated him he’d destroy the world to make sure that no other children ever died again. Because his little baby boy and best son in the whole word died a horrible death because people couldn’t play fair.

I was so underleved for this. But somehow the damage I did was enough so I summoned Yoyimbo at the last turn before sin's overdrive and he finished off Sin. Man that was epic.

At 4:15 you could have used Rikku to use an Al Bhed Potion and it would've healed Yuna and Auron from the petrifaction.

The simplest way of defeating the later boss battles is to grind exp and overdrive Anima and Bahamut. You can't argue with 999,999 damage per overdrive. Love the limit removal in this game. I never managed to get the celestial weapons though :(.

But obliterating the enemy with overwhelming force also can and doing it yourself is way more fun than watching a Video. One fun part about an RPG is building up youre Party and making them more powerful.

Against Sin I use only Aeons and I dont find it odd that these powerful majestic creatures can take down a monster that wants to die and trys to hold back.

Tip: on deafiting this boss ok if you are weak and cant defeat this boss use your aeon when your ship is far hit him with you secong skill now dont use magic use magic to hill your aeon like shiva when sin hits you use blizzara to heal up and then hit him when you run out of mp dismis that aeon and make sure your aeon overdrive is full for the Right fin and when you deafited the first fin get close to the right fin and use the overdrive and try to use your second skill until your aeon die.

When I played back in the day, it took me a bit since I wasnt overleveled but for anyone that wants a good strategy, cast haste or hastega on tidus, wakka and auron/kimahri and just attack. Use wakkas attack reels. Even with no leveling, the characters should do enough damage to get it done. In this battle its more about how often u hit than how much damage you do. This guy used slow characters that got fewer turns but dealt 9999 consistently

This is how I defeated Sin! 1.Cast Hastega with Auron on Yuna, 2. summon Bahamut in grand summon and already have his overdrive full, 1st is impulse(Sin is too far away for anything else) 2. attack shows you his life then mega flare, attack, (you get extra goes by attacking rather than impulse), attack, attack (because hes now near it does twice as much damage) last attack should do it! go into attributes on aeon to boost his attack and megaflare by using power spheres etc!

I used rikku overdrive combination of "unknown" for trio of 9999 and kept spamming her items that attack multiple times each causing 9999 damage.

I remember being younger and seeing that for the first time as well. I love this monster design so much because you’ll see something different every time it’s on screen. Whether it’s his weird physiology or the fact that Zanarkand is literally a part of Jecht! The slow reveal of the Sin is also super impactful because it increases the stakes and makes your journey all the more necessary once you see the scope of its destructive power.

I think I overshot this fight smh, by the time I reached Calm Lands I worked on Tidus' Caladbolg to get its 2nd upgrade. I one shot Sin with Blitz Ace doing over 20k per hit.

can anyone help me with this boss fight? i’ve got legit no overdrives except from tidus, luckily i have bahamut’s overdrive saved and i think a yuna overdrive. i don’t have flare , holy, or ultima - absolutely stumped, wish i’d grinded just before the zanarkand cloister of trials but i can’t go back now, all my save files are from this battle with sin :-// i should add ive got yojimbo and about 130k gil as i spent it all on auto med customisations :(((

I beat sin with wakka, lulu, and yuna Yuna- cast holy for 9999 dmg Lulu - double cast ultima for a total of 10k plus dmg Wakka - mental break,armor break and regular attack Edit: Use Tidus at first to cast Hastega and speed the party up

Square did a great job making Sin basically into an Exodia-like boss, where his overdrive is so strong it ends your game instantly no matter what the situation is. Even the Dark Aeons and Penance aren't QUITE that OP with their overdrives. Lol

Sphere grinding. He had to farm as many ability spheres as he can so he can get advance abilities like Hastega.

A lot of people have lost the fact that the sphere grid designated to each character, without deviating from the path will get you what you need, without level grinding to get to a reasonable point. These games are made too easy by people that over level. They are supposed to be challenging. Thats why ffxv sucked

Killed Sin only using Anima. Anima's attack alone is 20,000 and his overdrive is 70,000-90,000. Grande summon anima and make sure anima already has an overdrive. Two overdrives is better, no? ;)

heres a easy faster way 1st make sure your team is really strong 2nd cast haste on wakka when sin is far 3rd attack with wakka 4th when sin is near cast hastega on party 5th keep attacking. 6th i forgot to tell MAKE SURE your team has their ultimate weapons or this will not work. done 6 steps its fast
