Took us 13 runs but we saw a masque. Some extra notes just to add: When the mask glows it will absorb either magic OR physical. If it's absorbing magic, just spam Howling Fist to keep chipping away. Be very careful not to do skillchains because it will absorb the damage. And it's not a Pain Sync mechanic. . . you will just permanently increase Cloud of Darkness's stats. Impact lands nicely. I like to use it near the end of the mask glowing phase. You can bind Cloud of Darkness and/or Gravity II while the mask is glowing and then outrange both Waning Vigor and Expunge.

On that second mask my team does Gravity and kites to bait out the Expunge. As long as theyre far away enough when expunge goes out, it doesnt affect the MNK. Backline (if played by real ppl) can kite the voltos with a rdm grav. Grats on the loot, y'all!

The move that requires you to stop attacking is called Primordial Surge. After that move, Cloud of Darkness's mask will glow and she will absorb either magic or physical damage. Take a swing to see. . . if she's absorbs physical stop hitting her. If she takes damage, keep meleeing her but make sure not to Skillchain because she'll absorb that damage. The point is that she will absorb EITHER magic or physical after Primordial Surge.

I soloed this guy on MNK hes easy.. I use the Kendatsuba +1 set, Moobow Belt +1 and Jolt +1 H2h.. Destroys this boss less then 5 minutes
