Just a heads up for those that have purchased or plan to purchase Final Fantasy 12 remake on the PS4, this trick still works. This is literally one of the first things I did after picking up two copies of the game today. My fiance and I are running two PSPRO's on two 4K screens. We are currently racing to see who hits level 30 first.

Have wait mode on, as soon as Phoenix Down kills him, press X to open the comand menu, it will freeze but the loot drop animation doesn't so it gives you extra couple seconds to grab the loot and get out, also as soon as you enter the zone get close to the exit line so that Dustia teleports close to you and the exit, makes it easier. Hope this helps

The Recording Device I use to Record footage from gaming Consoles is Happauge HD PVR, allowing me to connect the console to the laptop via USB cable and record the footage in HD. The device cost 200$ when i got it. Hope this helps.

67 hours? Are you kidding me? Props to you, I wouldn't have nearly that amount of patience, if I was going to do this trick the max I would go to is lv20. That'd be enough for me given it's the start of the game but then this is a power leveling trick so I shouldn't be surprised some people get to insane levels with this.

Thanks for this video. Helped me with picking up the drops in time by using the menu. Always had to choose between keeping the chain or getting the drops before that, but no longer now :)

Just used this to get Vaan to Lv50, game clock is at 11 hours! I used the west-most entrance to corridor of sand and it works just as well. Just to emphasise to people - immediately after confirming to use phoenix down run as close to dustia as you can. I preferred to keep running into him until the loot is received then immediately exit. Also watch out for the rare game monster Fideliant in "The Midfault" area. Keep your stock of potions high so you're recovered making your way back to merchant

The video shows how you chain him, just don't touch the save crystal when going back to the merchant to buy Phoenix DOwns, and no you dont need to kill anything to get the monographs, refer to the monograph guide at gamefaqs

I remember power-leveling early in the game, but I don't remember doing this. I kind of remember chaining these two or three werewolves with my Summon, and getting a shit load of levels that way. I know you get a cool Bow from some of the Birds, but in order to beat them, you need to chain the werewolves first. I think that's how it went. Trying to figure it out again, lol

i think i will just level up the old fashioned way like my first playthrough on this game. Ahh that was fun. Back in school people used to call me a final fantasy god for my speed of completion and overall amazing end result. I love FF games but my Fav game of all time is KH1

I remember one time, while leveling up with Dustia, I forgot to set the battle speed to slow. I went into the Corridor place where Dustia is. I had used a phoenix down on him right on time, because right when I left the place, Dustia had used dark on me, luckily I didnt die. :D

when you use the phoenix down on him make sure you press X so w/e attack bar on and off when looting or exiting

Chaining only increase the amount of item droped and orobability of rare item drops, Kill Dustia with phoenix down and quickly exit the area before the EXP and LP Gain shows before his body dissapear and he will respawn, you can buy more Phoenix downs watch the whole video

Lol I remember chaining 150+ wolves and Hyena's in the beginning to start off with 60+ PDowns. Gonna be fun getting early equipment that is OP for the next few areas :)

Levels doesn't matter much but equipment is, with good equipment it's easy with level 30s

Oh, i'm sorry i forgot to say it worked! But just as you said. the first time i had them all to 20 from 14-16, and now i'm going back to try and get them to 30 from 25-26 after finding the three dragons all together in stillshrine hard to beat

I spent about 25-30 mins doing 50 pheonix downs. Fran was at lvl 11, bout where your at, and she went up 10 lvls. So from 50 you should get to right next to lvl 20. if your lucky like i was, I sold off my loot, some of it lost due to speed comprehensions, was able to get 99 pheonix downs. That'll prolly get you to about level 27-30 if im thinking right.

now that you mention it... Hell Wyrm really is a pain...he actually reminds me of Lapis in Legend of Legaia in difficulty,since he is almost harder to deal with than even the last boss of the game(like Yazmat isn't the same....),and he is too hard to beat by the time you find it... have you played LoL,and did you beat Lapis? if you did it with ease plz tell me how.....Lapis is a REAL PAIN!!!!

even with the leveling and all,it may still not be enough to beat ALL bosses,since some are weaker to magic,it may be best to learn many magicks as well,and find their weaknesses(if Libra doesn't work,happens a lot).Also,concentrating most of your LP in augments while early in the game.i was lv 20 and 1100+ each char,so leveling isn't as inportant as how you upgrade the chars.of course,the best way to do so IS taking a trip to paramina or stillshrine,but spending LP the right way counts a LOT!!!

Question. I'm planning on starting a new profile so I can refresh my memory. and after playing games like DQ8 and FF1-2 on GBA I'm not dealing with this underleaveled barely making it spamming espers to survive tactic that I was forced to use. so how long will this take to get me to Lv.35-40? since I wanna play the game with breeze but I don't wanna make any of the final bosses of the game a piece of cake, I mainly just want to rush through what I've already played but be at a higher level. I'm willing to put in 25hour max grinding. will it be enough to reach 35 at the least?

So, why there's no PD at the merchant ? cuz its IZJS ? (Int. Zodiac Job Sys) and how do i get Penelo in Giza as says your guide ? After you are satisfied with level, (again, level 50+) go to the Giza Plains and get Penelo.

hey ashe, sad to say I accidently deleted my lvl 51 power leveled file, however I am restarting but with a new approach, I'm using dustia to get up to lvl 25, then going and getting penelo, getting a gladius and leather shield, then I'll use the werewolves in giza to get to 70, this way not only will I get kotetsu, but also grind the levels I want without more risk of dying, plus I think the werewolves are a bit more profitable...ish
