CrazyMan03 They only were too easy if you grinded sometimes or did some sidequests. For a perfect gameplay experience, I recommend playing through the story first (no grinding) and then tackling the sidequests... it allows for bosses to offer challenge and with the sidequests you'll still have plenty stuff left in the end that you can do for more challenge (because you're juuust about at a level where you can defeat the final story bosses).

It's not weird really, I can't blame them. You can't say Hope can't be a favorite, because some people may actually like his personality (which I do in XIII-2) Other than that, I like Caius alot.

While I agree that 13 definatly had harder bosses (The Fal'ce Dahaka for example was a pain) 13-2 wasn't far behind if you've played the final boss, I found the 3 bahamuts to be quite challenging, as hard as, if not harder than barthandelus ever was.

Dahaka? Eh, that fight wasn't too bad for me. The real challenge was Cid back in Ch. 10. Barthandelus' first fight may be difficult, but at least he doesn't attack as quickly as Cid does.

Agreed, having limits on their power also showed the party's progress in terms of becoming stronger L'cie better than 13-2 did. When we get 13-3 (which we probably will if you've seen the endings of the game) I hope they go back to the old crystarium system, but keep the monster collecting and such

He had an electric Boomerang, that counts for something. May I also have you have to be extremely weird to choose your favorite characters solely due to how powerful they are in battle (though that could explain why Lightning has so many fans, that and how pervy people are).

That's a good assumption, except during the Paradox Ending we witness the world-ending war, and there's at least five Atlus machines on screen, fighting from opposite sides.

There was definitely a slow song similar to this which played in one of those long, grueling fights that would take fucking forever to finish. Like when you fought the Proudclad. 13-2 is so merciful in comparison; even the hardest superboss takes about the time it took me to kill that fucking mecha.

What having physical attacks has to do with Hope being playable. I prefer magic, it's much more interesting and beautifully designed

I still don't blame Snow for killing Hopes Mom. She offered to help, and he accepted. She wasn't the only female fighting. And she wasn't the only female who died. But yeah, he's Reckless. And that's why we like him.

Snow didn't kill Hope's mom, she got herself killed by the PSICOM, I don't like her guts lol it's ok for brave women to fight, but she got a kid and she chose to leave him instead, and it didn't make any difference in the battle.

Hope hated Snow to a certain point in game, and besides, Snow may be well intended but truth is he does tend to put people's life at risk and that's not alaways positive, especially if that ends up killing your mom... though i do like Snow as a character
