Adding to what you said you can get the other odin weapon at the casino coin shop at the bottom of the list after you get the first one from the quest. It costs 1000 casino coins without fragment skill (10k gil), or 750 coins with fragment skill (7.5k gil). :)

If you're talking about the monster, it shows up only under those weather conditions. You can change them with the weather machine.

It's nice that Square Enix put in the effort to make a new model for the ultimate weapon instead of just changing the color scheme like they did for every other weapon in this game. That along with the recycled enemy models from FF13 show how much they cared about the quality of the content vs saving money in development costs. Despite those issues, I did enjoy FF13-2 much more than FF13.

You get the Odin weapons by doing a quest from Hope, He asks for a Chaos Crystal. Once you give it to him he'll give it to the girl at the from the desk. You only get to choose one of them at the moment, So is Either for Serah 'Odinbolt' or Noel 'OdinBlade' They only get powerful if you collected enough fragments for it (Imagen if you collect all of them :) P.S You get the Chaos Crystal at the Casino looking place you have to buy it, Also make sure you have the Sell less Fragment Skill on!

I have the ultimate weapon for serah odinbolt and not for noel. But the weapon for serah doesn't give me the 6th ATB? How or where do i get the ultimate weapon for noel? Also how do i upgrade the weapons. Every says you need this Trapezohedron and this guide thing? I have already beat the game opened all the gates and need 8 Fragments left. I need the extra one to help finish things off.

If you mean the ones that cost 117k in chocobolina shop? Adamantite is choco races and/or Long gui. Then your best bet is to get a Durable collectors catalouge and farm ochu and immortal. to get both the rare drop and the common drop on both of them. it's not as teadious as it sounds.. But you're better off getting both odin weapons and waiting to use them when you get all fragments.

Get the Chaos crystal at Serendipity, then give to Hope in Academia 4XX AF. After that head over to the front desk and you get to choose Odin Blade or Odin Bolt. The other one that you did not pick will be 750 coins at the casino. The attack power of the weapons increases as you collect fragments. In other words if you have 159 fragments the bonus is 159, when you have 160 the final bonus awakens making those the strongest weapons, with 220 str/mag (hint ultimate weapon).

they will give bonuses of 220 to both magic AND strength, making them the most powerful weapons for both noel and sarah.

Only beef I really have with X-2 was everything was really flashy. It had a really unique and fluid battle system though. Though, I wish the game itself wasn't mission based.

@@LordRoyalTee It's not about being pleased. Not everyone is going to be pleased or like every bit of a videogame that gets released. I even stated that it was the only beef I had with the game. You may personally like flashy over the top effects, where as I don't. I like games with an immersive story and fun gameplay mechanics. It's the difference between floaty vs non-floaty combat for some. It's called preference.

wow i grinded so much that i completely destroyed caius balled at the final boss he was so easy for me my Magic was at 7874 and my damge was at 4568 and my monsters were at the 1000's and i had all the good things that i needed

I'm having a BITCH of a time getting the Gandiva from the Ochu to make Serah's Ars Chronica. I've gotten the Grasitha like 10 times (and made a lot of money doing selling the extras) but for some reason it won't drop the Gandiva!!! >:(

Yeah it has a 5% drop rate I think. Hate to say it but just keep fighting him...or get a Collector's Catalog from the Chocobo races...that'll make it a lot easier.

Try to get a durable collector catalogue and you will have more chances to obtain it, with it equipped I was able to get it after 4 battles with each monster... I'm still fighting against yomi, but that fking monster don't drop the trapezoedron

In more detail that @ratchet2259 gave you, to get Meteor Javelin you have to get every commando ability for Noel, and once you have five ATB bars when you're given a choice for an ability at the end of a crystarium level, you can choose it. The same goes for Serah's Ultima Arrow, only you need to get her ravager skills.

Best weapon for Noel and serah is Odin now and odin lance I believe noels is called as when you’ve collected all fragments there power and magic is higher than any other weapon in game

Yeah Odin is good b/c its a stat powerhouse, but its not meta I forget the name of the weapons that give you ATB speed but those were the best to have for challenging battles endgame and DLC coliseum. The ultimate weapons in this game are really just for show imo

Odin weapons grow more powerful as you get more fragments. They are at full power when you get all 150 fragments.

I'd say that the weapons you get from the Immortal (Windy, Arcylte Steppe ???AF) are superior to Odin weapons, simply because ATB50% charge is way OP. Faster stagger, less time spend healing/buffing/debuffing = more time in Cerb-digm.

The weapons he showed are 200 attack for Noel and 200 magic for Serah. The Odin weapons are 220 attack for Noel and 220 magic, but only if you have ALL the fragments.

Haters gonna hate. I'm a long time Final Fantasy veteran and I personally like this game. Will never be as good as 4, 2, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10. 12 is even better as well. But for something new to the series, I like it. I never used auto battle unless I'm grinding. Including XIII. Auto battle is the same as the memory option from past FF games. It helps speed up levelling. I'm interested in XIII-3 but I'm keeping my expectations mellow and contained.

Havoctheend TBH, Long Gui got a huge nerf from the first game. In the first game he's one of its 2 superbosses, and unless you do cheap stuff, he's gonna be really hard to beat even at a high level. In 13-2, though, he's a complete pushover.

I don't really care for the those "final" weapons. I prefer to have the ones that give %50 ATB speed boost. For stats just do the Crysterium properly for +1000 on STR and MAG

This will probably get me a lot of hate but I prefer FF XIII-2 and XIII over any of the others. The story and characters came together nicely, only complaint, XIII-2 made Snow seem pretty damn useless in my eyes. Hope became more needed than him. Besides that, these games were awesome.
