beat the game last night, such a masterful story, barthandelous was brilliant. Seymour was always #1 baddie till this guy came along and showed me power, and impact upon my door steps. This guy was awesome. Replaying the game for the ride.

Sephy fan here....but Kefka had that 1 line i could never forget "wait , do i look like a waiter ?"....Barthandelus just typical manipulator behind the scenes...the only memory he ever gave me was nightmare fuel of wiping on him non-stop...well dont remember ff13 well so can't rly rate him......Seymour well nothing truly memorable about him for me and ffx story is well remember unlike ff13...prob should replay ff13 someday as well as try out ffxiii - 2(never played the second game of 13)

Its Cool the fact that Barthandelus uses 1 type of Build each battle. 1st battle: Elemental Damage and Multiple Targets form. 2nd Battle: Debuffs and Dispel for Disrupting Party's consistence leaving them vulnerable for Thanathousian Laughter. 3rd Battle: Raw non-Elemental Damage, but including Some bangers like Ultima and His Signature Thanathousian Laughter.

I dont know about the rest of you, i only got half way through final fantasy 13, i had the limitied edition copy and the limitied edition book, i went on holiday and didnt come back to the game =/ but i regret it, because watching the cutscenes without playing the game i feel like im cheating myself, and when you play these games you really feel like the cutscenes are valuable and you earned the rights to watch them! Even more than a real movie! For me atleast!

@Trilink2 Cocoon is still inhabited, the exception is Bodhum. NORA built a replacement on Grand Pulse. As for Eden, don't know, don't care. Other cities are fine.

my god this fight, i beat it on my first try i knew what i was going to do and it worked. id already watched videos of his fight so i could see a pattern but holy crap i didnt expect him to be that easy XD

try him again underleveled ;) that be a whole different story...go forward non-stop without sticking to an area to level up some...that fight made me wipe so much cause my characters would keep dying due to being super low lvl..if i remember right my hightest hp character was 4.5k....but its been so long since i last played that i could be remembering the hp amount wrong....but speeding trough was an awful idea that much i remember..this guy wiped the floor with me so much cause of it

@owensdevone I beat Barthandelus AND Orphan, like, months ago and I got them on the first try, too. When I started this fight (from the video), my Lightning had like 15000 HP, so it got even higher when I fought Orphan. The only thing I need to do now is to beat all the missions.

You have to wonder... what was the point of sealing the exit? I highly doubt they could get back up there. Unless there was some kind of mechanism or stairs... highly doubt it.

I had Fang lightning and hope for this fight...somehow I was able to fight an adamantoise and got Fang and light their ultimate weapons so when I staggered him I used army of one to 999% then switched to Tireless Charge

@CommanderSavage Its probably to put a spin on things because everyone sees them as holy beings that enforce good wills and beliefs into the people. You could say the same that the darkness always prevails for the most part, then the good guys win. (Bad example, but whatever.

A stupid question: What happens after you defeat the boss? I mean like if you defeat him and finish the game, do you continue from the last save spot then? And if so, then i have made a terrible mistake..

If you defeat the final Boss, the Cristarium will get stage 10. After the save, you continue the game in the last corridor.

@CommanderSavage Yes, every FF game has a message about many things in society, and religion is in A LOT of them! this is one of the many reasons I love FF games so much and people don't understand because they never pay attention to the stories just because they see the gameplay as "weird" and "too complicated" or don't like the character art or whatever...I always tell them they're missing out big time!
