Ok, this is what this trailer is describing, this is an omen seen by both Regis and Luna, an omen that depicts what would happen if Noctis went alone on his journey, the white dog represents Ardyn, the accursed that would lead Noctis astray into killing Luna himself, then it transforms it's appearance into a hellhound, revealing itself to be a false shepherd. The voice that Regis is talking to is Ifrit the Infernian, how do I know? For one, this isn't mentioned in the game, but Ifrit is the one who started the Plague of the Stars because he hated humans, Bahamut the Draconian sealed Ifrit alongside himself in the crystal. When Ardyn obtained the crystal, he released Ifrit and made him his personal Astral. The one death Ifrit mentions is Noctis, the only one who can stop the Plague. Need I say more?

I haven't found any substantial evidence that they are either humans or robots, but this clip shows them lounging around, checking their phone and casually cleaning their weapons. It's a vast difference from the porcelain-faces, which move around like creepy toy soldiers with ridges backs and don't bend their arms or legs much at all and move around like they're being puppeteered. Kodo Elder-Groebe Remember this is a sort of "vision", not everything is as they appear (just like how the hellhound looked like the white dog or you see Luna mimicking Noctis with th Beheamoth). The "soldiers" are probably normal looking citizens but Noctis sees everyone as an "enemy" thus soldiers.

It was part of the omen. If noctis traveled alone, he would become shirtless. So king regis asked his friends to accompany him on his journey. Now we never saw noctis shirtless again... But gladio did. Who will be shirtless, noctis or gladio? It was a hard decision for a king. 😂😂😂

This is actually a vert interesting trailer. As I've heard, this is supposed to be the omen that King Regis prevented by sending Noctis off on the trip with his friends. But I'm curious as to how it would get to the point where Noctis fails to remain true to himself and kill Lunafreya. It could be that without support, he could fail to remain true to his character and be manipulated by people like Ardyn. I know we're not supposed to take every scene literally, but I'm still trying to understand how exactly this could have gone without his friends. I do think Square Enix was leaning towards the theme of friendship and the support that comes with it can lead to a brighter future. I'm just very curious about how this could have gone, without them. But after playing the game, it is safe to say that his friends are what gets him through. He goes through a state of depression constantly throughout the game and the only people to lift him up are his friends, who stand by him. It really reveals the importance behind Ignis, Gladiolus and Prompto. I have yet to watch the movie and anime series, but I wonder if it's safe to assume that this omen is the reason why Regis kept Ignis, Gladiolus and Prompto around Noctis from a young age. I know it's not for his own physical protection, as it's revealed through the omen that Noctis is capable of dealing a large amount of damage and can fend for himself when necessary, but it's also clear that he is far too powerful for his own safety. On his own, he can amount to his real potential, but when he has support, he doesn't really need to use up or even aim to reach his full potential. Anyone else have any thoughts on this? I'd love to hear any other personal opinions.

Pierrot. It depends on the player. For the Last Of Us it was like watching a movie. You grab some popcorn and sit back and just watch. Same with Walking Dead. Best part is, good players cut out the parts where they get stuck, so you get full gameplay and story without any of the pointless filler. I could play the games, but I don't enjoy playing them as much now that I am older. I am filled with too much salt @_@;

Jonny NetFlash here's my theory what if his attempt to prevent it is what leads to it? What if this is set in the second half of the game which so far we know nothing about. And he has become this because one by one he's watched all of his friends die. Most things with prophetic dreams like this end up that the things they do to prevent it is what leads to it.

It's hard to bring words from what i feel. It was just over a decade ago we saw Versus 13 as a spin-off in 13's world, then shoot forward to now, and here it is, as the 15th game in the series. It really brings a certain..." Whoa " to your mind, knowing you've been following the game, the changes, the developers, us, as the fans, following this project for so long. And, in just two days...it will finally be released. It's weird, yet satisfying, and mysterious.

This trailer really got me hyped for the game. It's fantastic. If only the acutal game was half that good :( I finished it last night... I feel betrayed. So little story, so many plot holes. I can't put my disappointment into words... I have literally waited almost half of my life (I'm only in my twenties so that's accurate xD) for this game to come out only to be presented with this? What the hell have they been doing all those years? It's a shame because the story seemed to have great potential. But in the end it felt like the producers had given up on the game and only released it to make some money to make up for the time they have wasted with its production...

I feel you. I watched the movie "Kingslaive" and it had amaaaazing characters and action. Also this trailer showed some incredible action but the game is like the opposite. Even when Noctics find out his father is dead there is no emotion or revenge scene at all. I dont get it.....the world they created as shown in the movie is incredible and i want to play in that world but FFXV is something entirely different. It annoys me alot.

Shiver Fang Yes I know that it is not a major spoiler but for me as a game story lover, I want to know all those cutscenes while playing, it just gives us more and more hint and clue to expect what to see inside the game and wait for the twist and answers to comeout on their mouths. It is like a book, you can read it but u only know what the intro or summary of the book u r reading, the same as the game, dont show too much trailer of what to come, just a small trailer and that's it. they have shown too many trailers since the early years, now we know that the king had done something, so we will now wait and see what comes next, not really good. One example of the good trailer is like Dark Souls, the developers really love the players to learn the lore inside the game, not to show too much of what happened on the past, what happened in the middle sorry it gotten long but just my opinion :) i hope this will be their last trailer about story related. Skaianet yea I know that is why they should release the game and take my money, if they want to show more story trailers.
