@@PeetaPlays Better to make it work, than rush it out and get lost in the mix of other stuff that's simply up to par. You put your own spin on it, which I think is commendable. Sure, some things it takes a lot of skill to imitate spot on. But I, personally, find it more fun when someone puts their own unique spin on things. I'll take a passably well done cover with a personal spin on it than a spot on cover imitating the original to a T. Shows creativity. But if you can make an amazing cover with a unique spin, all the better.Which is for sure what you did here.

I like the "classics" because you can listen to the original and then also find the multitude of different versions people created over the years. It's fun to see how other musicians figured out their own takes on a very well known song. I mean it's fun for me, I know there's a group of people out there who hate covers... for a reason.

Ffxv had so many good tracks... Problem is none of them actually stand out... Almost all of them are pretty forgetable.

True, there are maybe 5 different songs that I actually remember, but that OST was massive. I think it's mostly because all of the songs where orchestral and sounded very similar in their tone of emotions etc. I for one found that some of the music didn't particularly fit with the other bits - for example the sudden battle music always seemed jarring. But I loved all the little pieces that played in shops and how they changed their vibe based on if you were inside or outside the shop, it was really cool. And of course the Chocobo theme was just amazing this time around :D
