Yep. It was in the original arcade key for the first two Alpha games, I believe. Then for Super Street Fighter IV, they put it in the SNES/Final Fight CD key. I think it works better, makes it feel more positive. So that's what I based mine on. :)

Was always more of a street fighter Alpha guy, so I always kind of associated this song to be more of a street fighter song. I forget his origin sometimes!

I first got into the theme through the SoR Remake "Rescue Metro City" mod, which uses the Remix/Arrange version from Alpha 1 on that stage outside the Metrostore. I found a lot of incredible Final Fight themes through that mod, and FF3 has become a favourite for the music. I've just uploaded a remix of Explosive Situation!

Much appreciated, man. I'm sure they've seen a few by now (especially since I remixed the SOR4 trailer theme), but I don't have the professional background, so might not even be the first choice if Yuzo or Motohiro were unavailable. I'm still optimistic Yuzo will be the official composer.

Thanks. :) It was mostly based on the Super Street Fighter IV Guy theme. The original track from '89 was very primitive, but a more elaborate version was made from Street Fighter Alpha onward.

Iceferno Pro I can tell. Guy & Ibuki SF4 themes were the only themes I recall liking at all while I though the rest kinda sucked lol. This reminded me a bit of psx version of SFA2 guy version as well, probably due to the key there in.

Iceferno Pro oh yeah strange sunset, that was reused from ex1. I love damn near every piece from the ex series. Shinji Hosoe, Ayako Saso & Takayuki Aihara are beasts with bgm. Some of my favs with Yuzo and others.
