@@LDacic Sence you said I'm a fool then here's what I think about Kirby and whoever think like him. The most successful and top wealthy people in the world don't need bespoke shoes nor bespoke suit, they wear Seiko watches and department store suits (probably from clearance section too). This guy "Kirby" is a businessman, he doesn't care about quality, craftsmanship nor tradition! he care about the money in your wallet and how is he gonna rip it off you, *that's his real passion* and London is the best place to do so because it's full of rich people from all over the world and especially people from the middle east with plenty of oil money and no clue what to do with that money neither their lives, so there's places that sell bespoke stuff to make such people feel that they're special. I own 2 businesses and a couple of real estates, I do wear suits sometimes for work and I did wear 2 different uniforms in the past, one for 12 years and the other for 4. Nothing wrong with a pair of jeans, a baseball cap, a t-shirt and a pair of boots. Only fools and shallow people "like you" would judge the book by its cover. PS. We should give Kirby a medal for sacrificing himself to such an exhausting and a torturing process for us, I didn't imagine how difficult of a task it is to sit down in a comfortable chair and being fitted for a pair of *"bespoke"* shoes 😂🤣😂🤣.

This was quite interesting. We all have to agree that 'presentation' is an assembly of different elements: dress, communication, speech patterns, evidence of skills. I'm sure Tony would be the first to agree, his accent/speech patterns suggest that he comes from a 'modest' social class (that is NOT a criticism). In the previous video he was dressed down in casual clothes. In this video he is dressed in an immaculate suit which gives him presence and status. This all serves to show how important presentation is in both social and business situations. Bias is inevitable. We are all being judged. Here, Tony is overwhelming what might be perceived (by those who are able to pick up the sounds) as a social disadvantage, with professional/artisan ability and his immaculate appearance.
@koettfaers2 жыл бұрын
What social disadvantage do you speak of?
@puccini45302 жыл бұрын
@@koettfaers For those who are able to pick up on the 'tells' of sounds, he will be categorised (as we all are) by the 'class' of his speech intonation and pattern. Like it or not, RP confers immediate authority which is then confirmed or dispelled by what is said. Espousal of political correctness doesn't remove speech sounds as an indicator. That indicator does not provide certainty, it is simply an automatic first instance grading system that deploys without being summoned.

It is quite interesting the philosophy of returns on products what is deemed "worth it". 1 bespoke compared to 5 high end dress shoes. Valuing quantity and better than a lot out there as justification but it is still short changing. Buy right once and limit quantity to have superior quality. Same thing of the lower end market there are great shoes under 250$ but people would rather buy 2 or even 4 pairs of shoes for that 250 instead of one quality piece based on budget. Very big difference and is limited by overall budget. But 1 shoe a year compared to 4 or 5 a year with exact costs have better return on the 1 alone.

I am no expert, but I presumed that is a preliminary model to get measurements precise. The finished item will utlise those adjustments. Though I may be wrong. But with those cuts the end style of the shoe would have to have seams where they have been cut. So the profile won't be smooth as these are before he started cutting. But maybe that doesn't matter and they make a neat seam where they have cut.
