vooral de NF-5 vond ik persoonlijk een mooi toestel, had nog prima naast de F-16 kunnen vliegen naar mijn mening voor training en oefeningen...is nog heel lang in dienst geweest in talloze andere landen.

Not yet....bij mijn weten blijft " The Dutch Lion" J-015 in Nederland het duurt ook nog wel een poosje voor het naar Oekraïne gaat, Piloten vliegen daar in miG van de ussr periode, de F-16 is veel moderner ze moeten dat eerst leren

For 30 + years old jets, they appear to be in amazing condition. Still a great aircraft, and a testament it's still in production after 45 + years.

What do you mean, I don't think any of them are that old. They kept going down or just wore out their airframes so were replaced by new ones.

@@paulh.5691 RNLAF fixid flaws in the airframes themselves as well upgraded avionics etc. Considering the time they were in service the number of accidents is actually quite low.

In vredestijd en tijdens oefeningen/demo's zijn er voor ieders veiligheid minimale vlieghoogtes. En als dan het wolkendek lager is dan die minimale vlieghoogte, jammer maar helaas.
