Fun fact, you notice that Ethan doesn't even have scissors when he stops hallucinating? He thought he was playing "Hide and seek" with Donna's doll, but in reality Donna was running away and hiding from a hallucinating Ethan while he was beating her to death with his fists..

Really sad detail: Jeanette Maus, who did the voice/mocap for Cassandra Dimitrescu, passed away at only the age of 39 after a battle with colon cancer before Resident Evil Village was released. It’s heartbreaking she didn’t get to celebrate her work with all of the other actors, but at least her amazing performance on this game will never be forgotten.

The baby section is probably one of the scariest horror section they have done in the RE franchise. The soundtrack only adds on to it. Really damn good!

I don't see it mentioned here but the yellow plants in the house make you hallucinate your biggest fears. Ethan's biggest fear was Mia getting an abortion and lying to him about it which is why you're running from an aborted fetus version of Rose.

Fun fact is Angie and Evelyn do share the same voice actor/mocap Paula Rhodes. As for Donna, she is an interesting and most tragic character for me among all the lords. She is a poor person in her childhood who is lonely, has low self-esteem and is introverted. You can feel it from the empty house and the conversation between her and Ethan. She said she hoped Rose had not been born and hoped that Ethan would stay here with her forever. She definitely did not get family attention from her "mother" Miranda, so she really wanted others to accompany her. Those people the Duke talked about had gone in before but not come out may have been trapped by her and died of mental torture.There is also a mold infection to affect her personality(Like Baker's family in re7). Except for Donna, the other three lords all have monster forms (BOSS forms). Even though Moreau, who we think is very stupid, has it, she is the only one who doesn't. This is probably one of the factors that deepens her depression. There is also a theory that Donna did not want to kill Ethan at all. She was moved by Ethan's eagerness to save his daughter as a father. However, she has become even more lonely since the death of her father and sister(the graveyard right in front of Donna's house is hers). She saw the father figure she wanted within Ethan.Therefore she struggled inside her heart and wanted Ethan to stay with her. At the same time she had to obey Miranda's order to keep Ethan until the ceremony, otherwise she will be killed. Listen carefully when she said "don't leave", it's more like she said it in a pleading tone！ On the other hand, from Donna's perspective, her house is full of dolls and there is no place to hide. This is why Angie appears in those obvious places to be found out. She could only stay still, hoping that the hallucination would work so that Ethan would not see her, but Ethan would always stop in front of her and catch her, and punch her with his fists. The whole process was like a thriller.

I saw another comment saying that there is in the "extras" what happened to Zoe, the file is called "Report: Baker family" it is an 80 page file, there will be information about how the entire Bakers story was hidden, it will talk about Ethan in Europe, Chris, BSAA and the connections, it would be a good idea for you to take some time out from one of the episodes and read it on video, there are a lot of important things for the story there, or you can read it off the record if you want. In fact, I never understood why Capcom only put this report in the Delux edition, it's such an important and interesting part and a lot of people played it without knowing

Most of the newer guns you get are stronger than the ones you have before, don't be too afraid to sell the Lemi pistol lol! It unfortunately gets pretty weak when you're at the last chapters of the game

​@@moneyboy503That's the correct Romanian pronunciation... Capcom has a long history of getting names and accents wrong. Look at RE4 for example, The ganados are in Spain but they're speaking Mexican Spanish with Mexican accents. Capcom has always had a problem with language because 90% of their employees are Japanese and do no research before hand.

If i remember right, the game is wrong on how to say Dimitrescu. Forgot if it was a intentional thing or they just didnt know/couldnt say it right.

I’m pretty sure they used the French pronunciation of the word rather than the Romanian one?

@@BazookaGamingGirl I used Google translate to hear the difference from the Romanian and French punctuation, and granted it could just be the text to speech being wrong, they are both said the exact same way. The English text to speech doesn't even say Dimitrescu like the games does either. But again it's text to speech and a real native French speaker might say it differently.
