I'm glad at least that remake is an actual remake with more stuff going on and has SOME scenes that are much better than the OG. That being said I HATE how some of the things (mainly the lighting and the soundtrack) have changed/ Also it's pretty stupid how some scenes have jank when it's upossed to be improved version.

I gotta say, I don't watch all of your videos, but those that do interest me, I enjoy so much, I love the duo, I love the humour I didn't even know you were playing Control! One of the bestest games of all time, so I will go look at that as well :) I just checked and I am so glad that you played AW1, THEN Control, and I am guessing in a near future AW2, I am so going to binge all the existing videos and look forward to those and this one... please tell me you will play "House of Ashes" here as well!!! Edit: As usual I write this as the video progresses... there is a reason why his relationship is bad with everyone but Ashley(She is his crush) and Josh... and it is related to something you mentioned in the opening scene of the game, when you look around the table where Josh is at(Not gonna spoil it though, in case you seriously don't figure it out lol)

y'all might know this since eric is editing the remaster for a client; but the remaster got a visual update (looks stunning), more collectables, more cutscenes and new endings!

The campiness is strong in this one, with that typical teenage cringe you see in cheesy horror movies haha, but it's great to see your reactions to them, and your commentary is golden as always. Can't wait to see your choices throughout the game! Also, totally feel you on not wanting to spend 60 bucks, the remake is not worth that much imo. This still looks great, and plays well

It is kinda said that the Until Dawn is the best of the games that Supermasive Games ever made so I think they just want to bring back the hype or something so the remaster this again. This is the first game they made and still the best

Overall, from what I've seen from the remake it's just VERY pretty now. The darkness that yall are experiencing right now is alittle brighter but ofcourse still dark. Ans the character models movements are much better and realistic. Almost TOO realistic 😅

Ooh hyell yeah, Until Dawn, one of my favoritest horror games, along with Amnesia and Little Nightmares (I mean the 3 play completely different, one is an interactive movie game, the other is a first person puzzle horror and the third is sidescroller puzzle horror, and they all tell the story in completely different ways, one is in your face story, the other finding notes story + some environment and third is purely environmental story telling, and yet both the gameplay and the story in all 3 is completely amazingicular). Anyways went on a tangent... hyped to check your playthrough. BTW the playlist is backwards which makes binging it mildly inconvenient :P

Think your 110% on the remake, just don't see the value for the $$. also loot in this game is reasonable visible, but there are times where it's kind of hidden in a side area. So you don't have to zig-zag to find it.

I think they basically released the remaster to release the game on PC, it was only on Playstation before, and probably thought it needed a little upgrade after 8 years. Why not make more money with minimal investment). Actually the remaster turned out to be controversial, you can see from the reviews on Steam, some changes are good some not so good 50/50. For example in the remaster the first scenes when Sam meets Chris and then the snowball fight between Mike and Jess take place at sunset instead of when it's already dark, which is more logical. It's pretty weird in the original that they arrive at the party almost at night. But some of the characters look worse, some because of the lighting, and some of them have changed models (Dr. Hill, Emily definitely look worse). They also changed almost all music, it feels like royalty free is playing at some points now, lol. Different songs, different atmosphere. At first was a little upset that you play the original, and then thought , in general it is even better that way. And the remaster you can replay someday later and get a little different scenes and see the changes yourself. Love your videos, you have a cool dynamic, first saw Alan Wake and subed. The only thing I don't quite understand is why one person goes through the whole game, why not take turns playing, I think it would be more fun that way)

Not as good lol This game is a B-horror classic, and the studio never outdid themselves. This is VERY MUCH their masterpiece. A LOT of fun to watch playthroughs of

This game is obsessed with spoiling itself. I never understood that. I never picked up any totems when I played it, and never tried to search to heavy for clues. They literally give away mega plot points if you find certain clues.
