Because if some dude in his neighboorhood is asked by some work colleagues if he's for deportation, he'll say no But he's still going to vote for someone who will push that kinda shit really hard, and that's a massive issue of communication over all To me the far right extrimism you can see rise accross the world (Europe's going the same way, slowly but surely for 20 years), it's mostly because people are chuned into voting for it, because they're too "inappropriate", so yeah in the end they're gonna vote for whatever's not shitting on them for what they say to get a semblance of peace symbolically, and to kinda be heard Also, there's obviously nuance, but i can tell you how refreshing to be around people who just speak their mind, don't feel like they're going to be throw to jail for having them, and that you can do that yourself with the same results Rather than people who will judge you based on it, and still act like primates when nobody watches
