Final ICE 3M departs Amsterdam Centraal (2024-06-15)

The final ICE 3M (BR 406) departed from Amsterdam Centraal at 06:38. All scheduled ICE rolling stock to and from the Netherlands will now be the new NEO.

I say they should convert these to dual-mode, and fit diesel engines like they did with the ICE-T's, and export some of them to the UK.

Could be more trouble than it's worth. Given how often they failed and needed to be towed, I'm surprised they didn't already operate with an additional loco at all times 😄
