Proud of the USA. FIBA announcers sound like they're rooting for Italy. Way too excited for the most basic of plays: LOOK AT THAT PASS (simple cross court pass), I'M NOT MAD AT THAT PLAY (offensive out of control drive right into a USA players' chest). C'mon, now.

"ThE Us iS FaLlIng oFf". No, once players are in the NBA, the NBA owners and players don't want to risk getting hurt so you're not seeing the best in international games. Unlike the younger guys and you see what happens when the best plays. No competition.

International play basketball officials are the worst on every level. Thank God the US is just that much better at this age group than they are or they would be in trouble. They allow Italy to push the hell out of the big men, reach through them, and they missed several out of bounds calls when it was clearly out by Italy. I don't know where this international basketball crap comes from in the first place. The US has gone everywhere to make this sport better in other countries. Since we are the leaders in the sport they should be using OUR official because they sure in the hell miss to many calls at this level, never the less when the men play. The official is worse the varsity basketball. Why are we playing their rules when we rule that sport. These other countries rule at soccer and the international group can run that. But, basketball should not be govern internationally. Or either thy need training from the US.
@xaviercopeland2789Ай бұрын
That’s what makes it great. Fouls are only called when they are fouls, not the tic tac shit we have in the US.

This comes to show that so called closing the gap conversation is a far stretch from the truth. Especially when it comes to basketball! US men's best players only care for gold medals in the Olympics. Other countries can take that FIBA crap.
