Haha, I totally get what you mean! Names like *Kale* definitely don’t have the same punch as more distinct, memorable ones, and they can feel a bit out of place, especially if they remind us of something as mundane as vegetables! Outstanding story really enjoyed it. But what of strange single unidentified vessel they neutralized, that thread of story went unanswered. Was it there trying to energize the anomaly or turn it off? Were they really attempting to join forces with the humans? The humans need to really get those one or two messages they did receive from the mysterious spaceship completely translated. Anyone care to comment?
