Man, you have done a job to be proud of. With the spot welds you have done I don’t think there will ever be a rattle in that body. The 67 is my favorite Camaro. I like the vent windows I guess because most cars I drove up into my late thirties had them. I only have a left quarter to replace. I have owned the car for 34 years and took good care of it. Thanks again for the videos which by the way are very good.

Great video again.👍 Question. I really would like to see the Chevy II videos but it says private on all but 1. I have a really rusty 66 SS nova needing lotsa sheet metal and I'm sure your video would help me a lot in tackling that monster. Thanks

Congratulations Jeff. That has to feel good to wrap that up! The work you film here has really helped me with planning my 67 Firebird restoration. Did you use the screw-in aftermarket studs for the windshield/rear window trim clip to attach to or is there a weld on stud to use with a new panel?
@jamesfreddys5 жыл бұрын
Daniel Horton screw in studs for mock up and aluminum or stainless rivets for final assembly. The weld on ones have failed on me in the past.

James, I liked you doing a spot on the flexible urethane. I am looking for something to put in two 1966 mustang doors that were dipped and then reskinned. The material between the skin and brace is long gone. I will try some.....

Great stuff as usual jeff. Why did you choose to fill over bare steel? and not fill over epoxy?
@jamesfreddys5 жыл бұрын
Either way has worked for me I like bodywork over epoxy but it's more labor intensive and adds to the cost. So for this project this was our pick.
@RW-bi2rp5 жыл бұрын
That's true, thanks jeff

Nice bog work. From my 20 odd years of panelbeating I'd never bog to bare steel ever. #1 no. A polyester spray and block does wonders for those gaps or hammer dolly adjust more. Not one to complain about people getting there shit done! but seems to be the normal way things are done in the states. I have taken alot of real steel cars back to steel with bog on bare steel and it's just horrible! Rust spots between bog and steel. Etch primer..1k then bog/filler. Hope this helps and not piss people off.
